Not as big as Jarome Iginlas quads though. Jesus those quads. You ever seen him on an excersice bike like 2 hours after the game finished? Skating is like oriented around breaks. between tries, between runs, so on. it's totally reasonable that people with a full bag tricks who maybe drive to the park or ride the train to the spot could be overweight/have bad cardio. also id say the activity is more plyometric (think jumping, with short bouts of heavy exertion, like box jumps) than straight up cardio

Ben Kadow doesn't suck! He skates like an old soul, makes me think of 90s Foundation videos and shit. Kinked switch board and his 5050 to kickflip out on that rail going down a mellow ramp in NYthat Dylan and lots of other people skated, those shits was fire.

His video parts pre-Cherry and getting on 3D are worth a check if y'all have not seen them.

i strap an hr and do all kinds of things for exercise and skating doesn't work out too well when compared to mountain biking, jogging, fitness classes, etc... it does ok if i have a really hyped session but a lot of times skating just turns into throwing go to tricks on quarter pipes and bullshitting. the advantage is that if you have a hyped day you can skate for a few hours while the other exercises you don't do that long.
