Everyone, please take a minute to think about how so many of the absolute best ledge skaters ride ventures or thunders. It's no coincidence.

Guy in mouse always makes me want ventures

I stay off the skate sites for one day and Bobby Worrest puts out a part and I'm late. Damn.

So

Fucking

Good.

Bobby is quietly creating one of the greatest careers in skateboarding history. Every part is gold and we get a new one or two every year.
And don't think I didn't notice that frontside flip up the stairs the hard way to switch 360 line.
Warm Up Zone. Let's watch some skateboarding videos.

One of my favs for sure, along with Andrew Allen and a couple other guys. Glad to see some footage of this beast. Got me stoked on Ventures now!

I’m riding standard Indys 149ers right now, anyone here recommends venture 5.8?

I Ride 8.5 in boards & Venture 5.8 hi’s. I’d recommend them, zero complaints.

I wonder what the chances are for a rough cut ?

Been a minute since I rode Indy 149s, over 2 years so my point of reference isn’t great. My main complaint about Indy’s where the stock bushings, I rode them for years and they always sucked/got stuck sideways if I didn’t land tricks bolts. sorry i can’t go súper in depth I’m not really anal over my trucks so long as they ride straight and grind/slide good.  I’ve been riding ventures for maybe 8 months and haven’t had a complaint, base plates fuerther back so wheels don’t drag as much on nose/tail slides which is nice. I’d recommend picking a pair up, only $40.

Pity about adding the voice over. Bobby was doing tricks so rapidly so I could even concentrate on what they were saying anyway. Should of just had a tune.

Otherwise, incredible stuff. One of the best of his generation for sure

His pro truck is already out as well which means he's getting royalties.  No way he was going to get that from Indy.

Will buy Ventures now. Trucks look cleannn. Hope everyone else does too. Makes me proud to live in MD.

Turn is slightly slower than an indy, feels more stable and predicatble where indys dont seem to react how i want them to most the time. Kingpins are also set in a tiny bit more than indys, making your wheel base feel slightly shorter, which can go either way.  I like both of those things for street skating but if you skate big bowls only you probanly wont like them compared to indys.

This part really is amazing. Everything about it is perfect. I haven't skated a pair of ventures since high school but I've been thinking about picking up a new pair a lot recently. This part really sold me. I don't really need new trucks but I'd buy some ventures soon.

Well, switched back to my v turns because of this part. Is it insane that I change my trucks based on what trucks my favorite skaters are using?

Why is it hard for you guys to believe he was just over indy?  Between them being made in china now and sucking for the last few stages, its a surprise people are still loyal to indy.

All trucks are made in China for ages
And IIRC even in the same factory

Bobby is awesome

It's a matter of preference but i can't stand the holes aligned with the hanger, the big V (good thing it's not here anymore). And apart from this magnificient edit, Venture does nothing good videowise

surprised people would forget Ventures are the worst of the big 3s when it comes to turning because of this video

Thunder and Venture are made at ermico at DLX, independent used to be made there as well until they recently moved overseas.

Damn. I’m wanting to set up another board and this is making me want ventures on it instead of thunders. (Indy’s on current set up)
