I bought Bronson’s within the first month or 2 of then coming out.
I was not at all impressed, I bought them from tactics and left a review, nicely saying they weren’t good
(In my personal experience) and it was even possible that I got a set that maybe had some kind of defect.

Tactics emailed me after that review and they made it right and said I could pick another set of bearings that were more or less in the same price range.

I chose black panther 7s which I had wanted to try since like 2002 lol.

They were def better than the Bronson’s.

Bronson raw bearings are complete fucking ass. Shit was fast ass hell out the box but they barely rolled after 2 weeks.

Why would anybody ride any bearing other than Bones Swiss?

Just clean them every year or so and they will last forever. It is a well known secret that even pros sponsored by other bearing companies have Bones Swiss in there.

And I'll just say it: if you are paying extra for 'branded' griptape with logos and shit you are an idiot. If plain black Jessup isn't working for you, the problem isn't the grip, it's you.

Well to be fair/logical, the vast majority of regular skaters don’t want to spend the money or don’t have the extra money to spend or don’t really care about having the best bearings, they just want decent bearings.

i've never ridden Bronson but if you keep good care of them Bones Swiss should last you at least 5 years.

Was riding Bronson Raws, felt like no matter how many pushes I took my speed would fall off a cliff.

Picked up some OG Swiss today and holy hell are they faster. Granted the raws have been in for some time, but I still can’t recall them ever being this fast.

Cheapshots are the only thing keeping my 30mm wheels spinning at decent speed, Bones couldn't do that and they didn't last as long either. They might be better when you can afford some STFs to go along.

There is a legitimate arguement for Mob. Mob works fucking better then any other griptape given the perfect conditions. I’ve noticed through testing that Mob when taken to a humid environment or in colder weather or in areas of bipolar weather that it’s grip goes to shit real quick. Jessup on the other hand is prolly 2nd best too Mob in terms of grip, but that’s only under like SoCal ideal conditions, anywhere else Jessup owns mob.

ha remember the TWS product thing they did yearly? in each one they had industry ppl debunk myths and one of em was the bones TM who said its funny how many customers will pop the shields cause it shrinks the life of the bearings and basically ppl will go rebuy them

ive had a set of swiss for 6 years- the shields are a bit funky now but they still spin super fast, haven't cracked or broken the crowns - i clean em out once a year with acetone and use speed cream every couple months.

had a set of the swiss 6's that was 2 years strong -but had to leave the setup at the airport

Reds really are just the perfect bearing when you factor in the price. I’ve had plenty of sets that lasted a long time, and a few that lasted maybe 2 weeks. Sometimes you just get duds. Swiss are obviously better quality but they always made my setup sound dead whether it was the smoother and better quality balls and raceways, or a better quality stock bearing lube? I’m too lazy to clean bearings, so the dead sound and price never made them worth it to me. Reds for life.

besides mini-logos on my first board, I've only ridden bones reds, Ive been riding my current ones about two years and they still work fine.
My friend skated a pair of Bronson's and he said they were terrible, he switched back to reds within a week or two

I bought the super reds a few months ago and the shields kept popping off by themselves which slowed me down. Only solution was to go shieldless. #bones4life
