You guys are extremely naive, if you think you are getting objective information about this highly political issue. Moreno was voted as the new President of Ecuador two years ago an he has since tried to improve relationships with the US. According to various reports he had put alot of pressure on Assange early on. Since most of his voters support giving asylum to Assange it is in his interest to argue he is not kicking him out for political reasons, but because he is being a dick. Most Ecuadorians do not like the US and it would not go over well if it was perceived he was cooperating with them or worse bowing down to their pressure.
