San Diego Spots/Schools
« on: April 14, 2019, 05:20:09 AM »
Heading out to San Diego for a few days with a crew of dudes from SLC. We're staying in the mission beach area. Wondering what spots are in the San Diego zone, and if there are any schools with spots we should check out also.
Any info on spots is really appreciated! So stoked to get out of Salt Lake and skate in socal for a few days.
Thanks!!

UCSD is a huge campus with spots everywhere. I'm sure every high school has a spot or many. Feel free to PM if you want help finding particular spots because many times I watch SD clips they're at places I've been to or have seen homies skate. Also check the other threads for more stuff to skate

Just moved to SD earlier this year before the pandemic started.  All the parks are closed.  Are there any natural transition spots, bank to wallrides, or even full pipes around or near SD?  I live downtown and cruise around a lot and found a really nice slappy curb next to that weird rock spot in Seaport Village, but feel like skating tranny cause I'm old.

Ditches?
Home Ave kinda close for you. Quarterpipe one looks like encin. Bishop in Oside.
Used to be some bank spots downtown and some sprinkled around the county.

Bishop ditch was steeper than I thought it would be from seeing clips, but it was fun. Learned no-comply noseblunts (stall) there.
