from london here. not a fan of blondey at all. that said hes a nice guy, very mature for his age, and despite lack of footage is actually pretty amazing on the board.
he has a seperate fashion brand , not thames just titled blondey, which is sold at selfridges. must be doing alright cus that place is full of the rich and famous

Don't know what this means?

What I mean is that Palace videos are some of the best skate videos of the last 5 years and they documented/interpreted Blondey in an interesting way, but whatever he does next, it's not going to be like Palace, that's for sure.

Also, dude is filthy rich and does not need to make $ from them so kind of a weird departure...?

thames is on the backburner. he won't be riding for anyone else. i've also heard that he is turned down a board on palace twice now. there's obviously more to this departure.

They went awhile without adding anyone to to the team. Did they add anyone between Danny Brady in like 2012 and Lucas in 2017? All I can think of is giving Rory the bump up to pro, and maybe putting Poptart Pete and Blondey fully on.

Blondey sucks and I haven’t even seen palace merch in the wild in years let alone a board. They have a billboard for an LA pop up right now that reminded me they even exist still. They do dope videos but do they even sell boards anymore? Is it still huge with hype beasts?

Check his post before the leaving Palace one. It seems he realizes that his focus is shifting from being a skateboarder to something else. He seems really interested in more Art and Fashion kind of things. Good for him for pursuing what he cares about instead of "falling off".

he doesn’t do Thames anymore.

Thomas has trademarked his alias "Blondey McCoy" - so now, Blondey is a brand name. So Palace can't use the name Blondey because it's a separate brand. That's why Thomas quit.
