honestly a broken in dunk has amazing boardfeel and support. I just got a pair of the al davis pro leather that im going to skate after my current shoes. No idea how the boardfeel will be but theyre not super bulky so im feeling optimistic

I've skated Busenitz's first shoe almost exclusively for the past couple of years. Once you break them in, they're damn near vulcanized shoes in terms of board feel. Recently, I've skate two pairs of Accel slims and I think they have really good board feel as well.

definitely can agree on the romero laced/g6. the figgys are great too.

don't sleep on the tiagos either... they look bulky but the sole really thins out in the forefoot

Let me preface this post with the fact that I am slightly inebriated, very uneducated and I havent read any papers or done any research at all, or read your post really.

Rockin the Adidas Samba ADV's and it's the most perfect cupsole. Feels like vulc but the rough ground does not tickle my feet so much ;)

I used the Tactics 20% off coupon a couple of weeks ago and got the Vans Berle in black and gum.

I had read some stuff that they weren't great, but these feel awesome right out of the box. Great flick and board feel. I'd get another pair.

New Balance NM288s. they've become the only shoes i skate. On top of everything else, you can find some older colorways cheap as shit, and theyre already pretty in expensive at 60-75 bucks.

stop fuckin around, and get you a pair of 288s.

Anyone who says DB pro is totally full of shit.

That shoe fucking sucks for board feel and is basically an ankle rolling device.

It’s a box spring air.

The air Farse 2 samey same.

I suggest dunks or etnies

Everyone has different feet. You clearly don't like them but many people do. I have friends who have been rocking them since they first came out. They are obviously good for some folks. I couldn't see myself liking them at all but to each their own.

Dunk Low has tons of board feel. Sucks they are hard to get in AUS. You might have luck with old pairs online. I don't know the shelf life for a dunk low for skating purposes but I would not order a model made before 2011 to skate. Keep in mind that the level of puff in the tongue has varied wildly on the the different cw's since then but if you can figure out the nickname for the colorway you will be able to find google images that will show how big the tongue and ankle collar look. The shape of the top of the toe box varies a little bit too, where the perforations are. I love the way they are making them now so I hope they just stick with what they've got right now.

Woah thanks for clearing this up for me! I was wondering about this cause I randomly thrifted 2 collector color ways but I noticed the toe box area or whatever was a different shape not like the newer ones

And to add to this thread, adidas city cups

Best cupsoles I skated but sadly adidas sizing is odd and it was half a size too big and I really really liked them so much too, cream and gum color way

Busenitz pro's. I've been skating vulcanized shoes a long time, but my back got fucked last year, switching shoes got rid of my back problems.

Only downside to rocking Adidas is that you look like a Gopnik wearing them, cyka blyat!

I will third the Lakai XLK sole as fantastic. I’m skating the Sheffield XLK now and it’s super flexible.

Fourth’d
5thd. Sheff XLK is so thin for walking around sometimes, i think it's a vulc. but for boardfeel, it's perfect thickness.

Also Emerica dissent is another good one

They look narrower than they feel, which is  part of the appeal for me. Great on foot look.

They widen up as you beat me up too. They are great, worth finding an old color way on sale just to try em outs
