it's interesting, the longer fat bill films, the worse his style gets. his older stuff wasn't nearly as bad as this. he almost misses a ton of tricks because he zooms in so insanely close on like, their forehead, or a shoelace. that, and he overcranks the shit out of things. i don't need to watch a roll up with stretched out sound for 15 seconds

cherry wasn't great in this aspect, but it wasn't nearly this bad.

Has he really compared himself to Kubrick? I get if he thought he was some avant garde experimental filmmaker (he's as vapid and empty of any ideas as a lot of those) but Kubrick was an exacting mad genius that should not ever be compared to some NY hipster who knows how to put on black and white filters in Adobe Premiere. I'm genuinely pissed off.

I mean he rides for Dill's company, and dill basically was unproductive partying for many years of his career and I'm pretty sure Dill passes this down to his riders as a basic right to being a pro skateboarder.

"Do whatever the fuck you want" seems to be his mantra, and KB seems to live that out to the fullest. Seems like he doesn't give a fuck, and he puts out incredible footage when he does.
