I didn’t forget it. It’s a pro model for a skater who is on Nike now.

Plus they are releasing a model “inspired” by the K3.
It’s different for sure though.

Do you know if there are any pictures anywhere of that “inspired” K3 shoe you speak of?
You're better off not seeing it.

Its one of the worst shoes we've ever seen. Those selfish pricks at sole tech are destroying the brand.. All they need to do is either retro shit from 95-2000 or design new sh*t that ACTUALLY LOOKS GOOD. God dammit it makes me rage!!! I just get more and more mad every time I hear Kelly Hart laugh at things that aren't funny

I had to dig deep on the Upcoming releases thread to find them.

Not sure if this is a prototype or what. They definitely switched it up quite a bit.

Arto leaving out the Arto

I haven't bought any reissues but would probably get these

I don't recall Arto really wearing these though, seemed like he strictly ran Accels and Koston 1s. Maybe his pro es model was during the Really Sorry injury period.
It was released when he was injured, and soon after that he switched to etnies and they released his pro shoe rather fast. Btw, is he the only dude who has ride for all the sole tech brands? Emerica-> eś->etnies.
europe's like the capitol of england and france and whatever

Reposted from the new release thread- some of these haven’t been posted here yet:

eS should consider going back to some of their dressier designs and "stylish but not too tech" cupsole models. i was also a big fan of Rodrigo and Rick's designs

I think the Ecosse would work now, without any fuckery.
Loved that shoe, full disclosure - heavily biased localism.

Dude thank you for finding that pic. But seriously, this is a far cry from the glory of the original K3. I puked in my mouth a little bit when I saw it

Pretty much every shoe from '95 and '96 is nice. Beyond that, there's some interesting silhouettes in the 2000's that got victimized by the excessive puff and disgusting colourways of the time.

Either do this, or just give the Accel Slim Mid the sole and toe shape from the regular Accel:

This has potential, but I couldn't find a photo of it in an inoffensive colourway:

This tongue looks absurdly puffy compared to the rest of the shoe, but I like the design otherwise:

They seriously need to re-tool the accel. The OG samples from 95 look soo much better than the current iteration. The midsole is contoured from the heel to the toe, the tongue is just barely padded, and the panels are pulled back elongating the toe. They look much more sleek and tasteful. The current accels don't even look like skate shoes, they're just straight up mall-rat basement dweller shoes.

This is essentially a Reebok Workout (but there may be a closer design that I can't think of off the top of my head)

That being said, it looks like a great shoe to reissue.

95 sample in forest green looks amazing and fills me with nostalgia. Can't believe how much those little differences enhance the shoe.

I've been skating the OG Accels since they re-released them. Mainly because I have wide ass hobbit feet and they're one of the only shoes I can comfortably skate in that have decent board feel. Don't know why they made the tongue so thick, that's my only real gripe with them, but agree they need to retool the whole thing

Was always a fan of the square two

And Bobby's shoe the First Blood

But agree with the accel plus and the accelerate for sure

Loved the first blood, had a bunch of pairs and then I think by the time his second shoe came out they were already having issues because the quality was terrible

I could/would never wear those myself but I think they are sick as hell.

They made a lot of interesting mid/high top designs.

really wish these were given a chance with a suede upper. It'd be nice if es went somewhere in this direction instead of just straight up puffy shoes.

I want a tech looking shoe not just a fat shoe

Absolutely. I still wear the blue colourway of this shoe, and always look down at my feet and think how good a full suede version would be.

They did it perfectly with those a couple years before, just the right size between puffy and slim. With a few modification it could turn into a great k2 version

They were honestly so terrible. I got air bubbles in the sole. How the fuck does that even happen?
