I'm definitely working on switch flips more.
Seeing Mark do one again makes me want it back more than ever.

Tho I'm very happy with my switch Ollies these days. Which is good enough.
It's my favorite trick to do after impossible and back 5oh I think.

Switch flipper is my absolute favorite trick to see. I don't even care if it's ugly. To me that's a dividing line trick.

If you can muster a switch flipper. Even if it bounces on the ground like a late flipper from the lick video. You a boss.

 But yeah I'm not up to my own idea of snuff. And something happened to me when I stopped doing tricks for more than a decade.

My unnatural flicker foot got incredibly powerful and way less accurate.

When I nollie flip the bloard pops so high and is so far behind me I can't suck it back in nearly ever and I avoid doing them.

Its almost a guaranteed nollie florward flip.

Switch flip I can finesse like one out of a dozen because they are hard af to hold on too.

If I did what I did before with my kickflips it'd get better.

I do an Ollie then immediately do a kickfliper.

This is how I defeated the rocket effect I had in the 80s from bad form.
And My goal has always been to bone or shifty all my tricks every single try.

Less so now I'm old but I do have a reliable good looking kickflip for doing this method of "training "

I love his Beamer shit, but i'm always so stoked when he's on a normal board.  He's just making life harder for himself skating street on the Beamer, probably as a subconscious excuse for his declining skills as he ages or to just have fun keeping simple stuff difficult.  Either way, I love it but it's sick he seems to be on a tear at the moment, probably in a bit of a panic about the reality of age & pushing in while he can.  There's no one else from his era who is still this stoked on skating that they'd go out alone to curbs & shit.  Give the cunt SOTY.
