DGKalis, ISUCK, honey island, and euro are all awesome because they actually give legit insight on the industry, wish there was more of that around tbh.

GAY because I feel like he made this forum accept gay people. Like not many years ago the concept of people starting threads on pros insulting each other saying faggot wouldn’t have been a big deal. Like some of slap is up in arms about it. That’s pretty cool to see happen in real time over a decade.

Conquesos posts are short and sweet, but they are always fucking great.

VHS ERA is prolly my favorite NY poster, always learning some hidden big apple insights from him.

Shannamal cracks me up. I disagree with him on like everything, but he makes me laugh and the MJ sig is just incredible.

Francis Xavier always throws some good posts down, but hard to tell if he’s trolling or not.

SFB was pretentious as fuck, like he was very set in his ways. I really only fucked with him because of his passion for AA and Antonio.

PlanMan has the absolute best sigs historically I can think of.

The username with Alice in it, always good posts from them.

Rick Kane and PC principal are prolly my two favorite character posters in the last year.

Thank you sir. I do in fact believe the && stuff I say. I genuinely don’t troll when I talk about him. I truly do think he is a transcendent skateboarder. I actually don’t troll much, but I do sometimes, and the beauty is that I have enough beliefs people disagree with here that they don’t know which is which, which makes it even more fun. When I troll on slap I do it in a very cerebral way and if u pay attention to how I post u can catch it. Like when I actually decide to write long posts(kind of a signature style I’ve associated with this account) I’m being genuinely dead ass serious. I give Slap the real insights when I long post. I feel like I have a lot to contribute here sometimes because I’m a very unique individual in how skateboarding has been in my life. I’m glad someone actually enjoys my long rants, they generally start with a hefty amount of herb too.

Edit: I also have to say I absolutely laugh my ass off when I see shit like so and so pro/legend would think terribly of this guy, and then I know the dude or am friends with a close friend to a person, and I know that whoever is posting has no clue. I see this in && threads a lot, but it pops up other places. Some have legitimately made me laugh my ass off because certain ones are those guys favorite skaters.

I'd love to be able to take credit for something like this, but the truth is that the forum accepted me on its own. When I came here, I was terrified of uniform rejection, and the reality was the complete opposite. Even when I first joined, when people would come at me with epithets, lots of people would come out in support and tell those folks to calm that shit down. I'm one of those people that's pretty terrified of confrontation so if it had been any kind of battle, it probably wouldn't have happened. SLAP has been kind and accepting to me from my day one. That's why when I read stuff about it being such a cesspool I just don't jive with that.
Again, I appreciate the shoutout, and cheetasheets I'm quite fond of you, but I just wanted to go on record as saying that all I did was show up and be out about my sexuality...SLAP handled the acceptance and homophobia on its own. And I'm eternally grateful for that...it allowed me to accept myself as a gay skater. Cool stuff!
