It was trendy or cool in the past and it will get recycled eventually, just like everything else created and consumed by humans.

BAKU is just like a lot of things in metal in that they are totally joking but also think that some of the stuff they're talking about is cool. There's like .005% metal in skateboarding these days and half of it is corny as fuck (yes I'm talking about Jerry Gurney) so I don't know why OP is so bummed on these guys.

i think this is a neat idea, but for the crew name you would need to include triangles and upside down crosses and shit to make up the name, instead actual letters.

okay fuck a bunch you guys hating on DMODW! Yeah I'll be the one with unpopular opinion, I liked the idea as an abstract view. The point I think is to consider the thought of what they're skating instead of who is skating, giving credence to a kvlt at large than an individual.

Most metal bands look cool on stage but 90% of the time they're just metal dudes working standard jobs, I look at this the same.
