Polar used to make good tees but I hate the new ones.  Both material and cut changes.
Theories makes great tees.
Would love to hear some good recommendations.  Like em buttery soft.

OG Screen Stars 50/50.

With what they charge for modern garbage material t’s, brands might as well source vintage blanks.

my ideal are hane's beefy tees. i can't stand thin, soft t-shirts. I like thick heavy cotton that takes a long ass time to break down. gildan sometimes brings the goods, older champion also has the thiccness.
I started getting a lot better when I went back to college and started taking a lot of math classes when I was 31.

I figured out how to figure things out better, if that makes sense.

Thankfully it seems thin, tight cut shirts are on the way out

Polar new shirts suck, I have one that I barely wore it 5 times with holes.

I bought about 15 of them last year in assorted colors and they were wildly inconsistent. Some of them were really slim fit and basically felt like a size down and then the others were alright but still shorter than I was expecting. The shirts that were too small were clearly an AA bite as they had the long skinny removable tags on them whereas the others had a screen printed tag. I was pretty bummed.

Anyone know what shirts DLX uses? I'd be into scooping up some of their blanks.

Get a second one and see whats the problem. I love magenta but their sizing for softgoods is all over the place. Theories makes my favorite shirts.

I'm not 100% sure but they might be using American Apparel blanks, the DLX shirts I have feel comparable in both material and fit

Carhartt.

Especially the WIP pocket tee's.

Sure they're great, but I can't find it in myself to pay $90 for a t-shirt.

Is there a justifiable difference between WIP and run of the mill Carhartt stuff, especially something basic like a t? I always scoop up Carhartt t's at thrift stores when I see them, no complaints.

Anyone try a Gildan Hammer shirt?

if so is it boxy and stiff or slim and soft?

Similar fit to Alstyle(AAA) collar is thinner though. Mine stretched out noticeably after a few wears. Material is softer but not next level soft.

Glad I could help. AAA is my go to since they fit the same no matter how many times you wash them.
Normal Gildan sleeves fit my arms terribly but the hammer fits way better.

You have to get the N6210 - anything is just 'meh' still quality but the N6210 is the magic.

https://www.amazon.com/Next-Level-N6210-Mens-T-Shirt/dp/B00E8PZTHC

They fit true to size; I'm 175lbs (very fit) 5'10" - the larges are great if you are broad shouldered/actually have a chest or want a bit of room around the mid section and biceps; I get the cheap ones off amazon to skate in ($6.24 for unpopular colors). Mediums are fitted, if not a little tight after the wash (cold/warm dry or hang).

So fucking soft. Whenever I need to do a run of shirts for my projects I always get these in bulk.

Now if you have cash to buy something that will last (and NOT to skate in); The Lulu Lemon Vs and Crews will last forever and fit like no other shirt (if you can pull it off). They're $55+ a pop - I've two older ones still in rotation, they're 5 years old and still perfect (if a bit faded).

I'm wearing a Cotton Heritage MC1082 that is really nice. It's a shop shirt with no brand on it so I had to google the info on the seam tag but it's maybe one of the best tees I own. It's got a big ol heavy screen on the back so I never wear it but I can imagine some blanks would be great. Finna order some and throw those boxy ass beefy tees in the Goodwill bag.
