Just booked a ticket to go to the dime glory challenge. Looking for recommendations on spots, food, places to stay. I imagine most of the weekend will be busy but hoping to skate street with whatever free time I have

The dime site used to have a spot book on it. It’s a pretty small city and is easy to get around.
Definitely try Poutine! Also the best bagels I’ve ever had.
Enjoy.

Mile-End Park is fun. Rosemont Park is full of the absolute worst "cool-guy" kooks. Despite the park having potential the locals completely ruin this park. The parks in 'burbs are better than the parks in the city, but then you get traditional suburban crowd.

Place de la Paix is a must visit spot. The ledges are higher than one might expect.

In terms of food, Momo Sushi is pretty hip and tasty (even if it is vegan). Ma Poule Mouille is great for the price (the park across the street has a few spots as well.) If you end up in Hochelaga 3 Pata Poufs has great sandwiches that are super cheap. And, Croissant Croissant is fucking amazing. Best place for coffee and a pastry.

I love when people bring up world hunger. It makes everything meaningless.
"That guy is double parked."
"Who cares? There are people starving to death! Besides, how does that affect you? Does it lessen the joy of parking?

Heading to MTL right now for the weekend from NY. Any tips on nice areas to skate, ideally more mellow shit like curbs and ledges. Also, how’s the Montréal Plaza? Saw some vids about it.

Got a pretty good snow today, so bring a shovel and warm clothes. It's not my page, but check out "spot.book" on IG and take your pick.

Out of curiosity, where are you coming from in NY? I'm from Rochester but I've been up here for a few years.
