Send me ur clips.  I will give you my recommendations.  All I ask is 5% of GP.

There better be some flip-in flip-out shit or don’t waste my time.

I’m looking for switch.  I’m looking for nollie crooks.  I’m looking for fakie big boy ollies.

I need highwaters.  Socks should be white and clean.  Bleach is your friend if we’re talking whites.  (Not a race thing, a sock thing.  Don’t get it twisted.)

Tell your camera operator to get lots of glamour shots of your face as you are approaching the obstacle, preferably before you set your board down.  This is extremely important.  Eyebrows furrowed, slightly confused look, intense (but not too intense).

Also, if it’s a line, tell the camera guy (or gal, it’s 2019 fellas) to get way the fuck in close whenever possible and don’t be too gentle with the camera.  Really get in there and shake that mother fucker hard, the kids love it.

This.  If the cameraman/woman is not looking like they are on speed shaking that thing, it is a waste of my time.

Make sure you have a bunch of artsy shots of your ugly ass friends doing mediocre tricks. The kids will love it.

Zoom in hard. Smokes are cool. Follow FA. If the outfit looks dumb, go for it. Make sure to look sick and thin. Be as pale as possible, even though you're in Cali. Band shirts. Annoy normal people, those damn conformists.

For the love of God, don't put any names in the video. It's lame to associate tricks with a particular skater. All tricks are the whole crew's tricks.
Before you say the music sucked, have you considered shutting the fuck up?

Gay bird moments, we got shortchanged those in Baker 4, need to buff up those numbers son!
Did any of you guys ever notice that if you took off the end "er" from his name, moved the "b" to after the "i" and then added an "l" to the "b" that you just moved, you'd spell "Bible"?

These first trick tips are not skateboarding tricks but tricks for making a film with skateboarding in it.
Roll slow so it's easier to see what you're doing.
For total creative control I like to not bring a filmer and rather just prop my iphone up with like a small rock or something, point it roughly at where I'll do my stunt and hit record.
Don't waste frame space trying to fit your whole self in there, like 90% of skateboarding happens below the waist

It's not Trix per se it's how they are done. The camera loves fast and clean. Play to your strengths, but step it up a bit, an extra push faster than comfort, a few more stairs than you have done before. Scope out new spots so you can get the most out of your abilities and produce something unique that crashes the grading matrix. Also none of that trick photography low angle bs, please

Include a phone conversation of you telling your homie to be mad at the guys negotiating his deals.

Just shalom the hell out of your tricks and wait for the sponsors to come flooding in

-Do as many sex changes as possible, there can never be too many
-Do as many no complies and fastplants as possible, there can never be too many
-show off your skinny waist by cinching your big ass pants way up and tucking in your t shirt
-make sure your pants are too short, we need to see them socks baby. cut them fuckers off at the bottom if you have to
-remember, beanies are to be worn all year round, but must never touch your ears
-never ever do a big awesome trick without afterwards doing a flatground trick - preferably not landed
-make sure to show a few attempts before every make
-make sure you get multiple angles of every trick and get the editor to switch between them rapidly mid trick
