 Also I really only came into say this threads title is like if someone in like 2008 posted a why does cab have shoe. Since back then cab was kinda in a similar situation with one of the most popular shoes but he didn’t really have the same level recognition with a lot of younger generations outside of THPS. I even used to see people on here saying shit like I didn’t know he was a person I thought vans named the shoe off of the trick.

We might not see much of Janoski now but his place in skating when the shoe was released warranted a shoe. Shit , even the shoe he had designed for etnies before Nike scooped him up became a best seller and was the basis for shecklers shoe.

For what it’s worth, a shop I worked at in the late 2000s sold the 2nd P. Rod shoe very well. Limited sample size, but one of the better selling shoes we carried.

I've heard Janoski's shoe has out sold all the other releases on Nike SB combined.

Which is fine but being fair....Nike never flooded the malls with any of those other joints the way they did with the Janoski.

From a business standpoint the Janoski shoe is probably half the price to make as what the Kostons and most of the PRods were so that makes sense. Why not market the hell out of the shoe that would make you the most money?
