I agree that he’s very very talented but also understand not fully being excited by his footage. For me personally it’s never quite scratched that itch even though I feel like I really should be enjoying it. Hard to put into words but I think the thing with louies skating is that it never looks like he’s really having a hard time with a trick. I think this totally works for some people and definitely works to louies advantage from time to time, but something about it removes some excitement for me. If I see Louie roll up to a spot I can already picture exactly how his roll away will look. I’m never really on the edge of my seat with his skating.

Again, KB is a normal backtail vs Switch backtail by Jorge and Gillette. I guess it’s a lot easier to have a better style in your normal stance...
