Anyone check out the Righteous Gemstones ? Getting ready to sit down & watch the 2nd episode tonite . I really enjoyed Danny’s work on vice principles . His dark sense of humor is great .

I'm definitely into it thus far. McBride is fucking hilarious, but Goodman...this is like the role he was born to play. I love it when he is menacing.

Im stoked. Eastbound and Down is one of my favorite shows ever made and Vice Principles was great. His stuff on HBO is usually good shit.

Add in Adam Devine and Goodman and so far im enjoying it haha

Much like Walton Goggins stole the show in Vice Principals, I have a feeling that the sister, played by Edi Patterson will shine in the series. She's already my favorite character. And for some reason I find her very attractive (I think it was because she played such a nut in Vice Principals, haha).

I think Danny McBride's strength is in the casting for his shows. He always plays basically the same guy, but the characters and actors around him make the shows great. And obviously the writing for those characters is great.

Both great shows, I found Walton Goggins a massive factor in making Vice Principals so good and like someone said Danny McBride has a great eye for the actors he puts around him and Adam Devine should be good shit. I havent had a chance to watch yet but this thread gets me keen

You are right. In Eastbound and Down I loved Don Johnson as his father and Lily Tomlin as his mother. So damn good haha

The 3rd episode is genius.

It's fucking crazy like a cartoon, but very human and believable at the same time.
