I like the premise of the show I just  wish the pacing was a bit like The Wire that is a great fucking show.

Some slow points but overall tense and fascinating as hell.  Would binge watch another season immediately, but appreciate their sustainable approach.  Unbelievable how much their Son Of Sam looks like the real guy, same goes for Manson.

I almost want to say their Son of Sam looked more like Son of Sam than the real Son of Sam. Great season. Can't wait for Season 3.

I love the guy that plays Ed Kemper. Manson was on point too.

This is easily one of the best series on netflix. It blows a series like Stranger Things out of the water. The character chemistry is super interesting and convincing, and I hope that it runs for at least 2 more seasons.

was kind of disappointed.  i felt the subplot with the hotel receptionist was pretty forced and that character got really annoying.  it was still pretty good overall, but i wish they would have covered more cases and gotten more into BTK.

I loved season 1 and couldn’t wait for season 2. As soon as I saw it was out, I binged the whole thing in a day and a half. I also was hoping for more of BTK, but I like how they are setting it up for season 3. I just don’t want to wait another year and a half for it.

Read online somewhere that it hasn't officially been renewed for a third season. I mean, it has to right? Too good not to.

The same actor played Manson in this and the new Tarantino movie, I thought that was pretty neat.

Just finished Season 2, it's not bad - excited for the BTK timelines to catch-up. Hopefully the third season comes around faster cause waiting 2 years between seasons is a fucking drag.

Really enjoyed both seasons, I've read the book a hand full of times and they do a really good job making it into a tv series.
Two additions I woulda enjoyed this season,
More BTK
Showing how big of a roll John Douglas or in the show holden ford had on the trial of the Atlanta Child Killer, like the fact they used a strategy to make him snap/scream in court and it flipped the juries opinion completely towards guilt

*Spoiler Alert if you haven’t seen Season 2*

It’s crazy how on-point the Wayne Williams guy was.

Does anyone know how many seasons there will be? They still have a lot of shit to settle after season 2 so I’m confident about a 3rd season. Some stuff that has to be tied up:

Brian’s whole situation
Lesbian stuff
Ford panic attacks
Tench’s wife/home/worries about Brian
Expanding the Behavioral Sciences unit

There’s more, but I really can’t see the show ending without going further into those situations.

This show was the hot topic in my yoga class last weekend. It's mostly women in their 50s and 60s, and they were really dissecting it and getting deep (prior to deep lunges).

My one gripe is that too many current shows are doing extra-large intertitles lately and it's corny as fuck—it's also my one gripe about "Killing Eve": You don't need to show the Eiffel Tower in a shot AND put PARIS, FRANCE so big that spills off the edges of the screen and into my bowl of Lucky Charms.

David Fincher plans to do 5 seasons apparently. Though it hasn't be renewed for the 3rd yet. Imagine the BTK storyline will continue throughout the seasons, he wasn't caught until 2005.

Exactly^

Really excited for the BTK plotline to develop

The guy who played Manson in this/ once upon a time in Hollywood is awesome

Nobody has topped kemper yet to me but they’ve all been very well cast

Loved the scene of Holden trying to deliver the cross

My guess is that was their way of trying to put you in the mindset of him about to have another panic attack

Obviously everything Fincher does is intentional. For that reason I need to ask: does anyone know why everyone looks jaundiced?

It was a thing in the 80's. I was born jaundiced, my dad was jaundiced, my mom was jaundiced. Everyone was jaundiced.

I began reading articles about the fact vs. fiction in the show and it was a bit disheartening. Obviously, it's a drama and things need to get juiced... but adding the story about his son being the child who killed a baby was a bit of a stretch.
