Fall skating.
« on: September 08, 2019, 03:31:03 PM »
Hands down favorite season. Cool temperatures without freezing bushings, parks are empty because kids are in school, sliding through leaves. Not too hot or rainy like summer or spring either.

My favorite skate season as well. I live in Portland so we get a good amount of rain in the fall but the dry days are beautiful.

It's the only manageable time of the year to skate. Spring rains too much, Summer is morbidly hot, Fall lets you wear a long sleeve, a nice breeze most of the day, golden hour is perfect. Fuck summer

Fall is for sure the best time of the year to skate.  Not to hot, parks are less crowded, you have Ben skating all summer so your at your best before the winter hits.

i definitely try to make the most of every skate in autumn, im always kinda cautious in summer cos i dont wanna get broken then miss the small window of nice weather we get here in Scotland. But in Autumn i am aware that its gonna be wet for like six months and the chance of skating outside again gets slimmer with every passig day so i take more chances and usualy get my best skating done at this time of year.

i love it but i hate it.

50 degrees is perfect. I can skate at 100 percent without sweating or getting cold.

I walked to 7-11 from my apartment yesterday. It’s so close you can see it from my front door, hear cars music when they are parked there. I walked across a vacant lot and feeling and smelling their air I was immediately thinking of it being one of those days that we’re perfect skating with my friends. The air was the same temperature as my body. It wasn’t hot or windy. It was so nice. All weekend I’ve had that feeling. It was a nice break from our brutal summer. Love this time of year.

I must say I prefer summer, our autumns are usually a bit too wet to reliably be able to go out and skate whenever you want - BUT
sliding through leaves.
is one of the best feelings. Until you slip out and there’s dogshit under the leaves :P

For sure. Fuck summer. 90+ degrees with 90% humidity, having to mow my lawn, Parks always crowded. Fall is perfect. I’m down to skate down to about 35 degrees outside so the first part of winter is cool too.

Autumn is the best. I love when it's cold enough to wear a sweatshirt and not take it off for the whole session.

It was 48 when I skated yesterday. Temp was fine with a sweatshirt, but I could have done without the wind.

East Coast Mid-Atlantic here, we probably have like  weeks to a month until it just turns down right cold. Spring and Fall have been short lived the last few years

I just got back from a trip and finally we have fall weather here in Chattanooga. Holy shit. Best vibes ever. It was so nice to go out and skate earlier in the evening... and in a damn sweatshirt no less. It got dark at the perfect time and we had tons of time to chill afterward and get home at a reasonable hour.

favorite weather to skate is fall. I’m in florida now the weather has been in 60s and some cloudy some sunny days.
the fall season just has that nice skate vibe here opposed to the hot, humid summers
