Do people really prefer Ventures to Indys nowadays?

Yea.
Not all of us skate transition or need the deep carving turn of indy or ace. I have a ready set if Indy, venture and Thunder for the board dimension or type of skaing i want. I prefer the baseplate slide of venture but enjoy the turning radius of thunder. Sometimes i wanna ride indy and sometimes i dont 🤷🏼‍♂️

People leave sponsors because either they got offered a better a deal or their friends either left said brand or are on another one.
Alex Olson referenced that when he left Vans.
It’s tough being on trips with people you don’t really click with.

Try some thunder team hollow hi. Great turning (like indy) but super stable (like venture)

Alex Olson got kicked off Vans because they didn't want him to move to NYC while they were filming Propellor. Probably because he couldn't be relied upon to produce footage. It was around the time of Pretty Sweet, and he seemed pretty burnt out on filming big projects.

I have only ever skated Ventures and Independents, and both make quality trucks. Kader did nothing wrong switching from one company to the other.

Anyone remember at the end of the early 411's, it was the industry section where it showed pro's switching from one company to the next or starting their own company. Skaters switched company's back then so often, it got pretty confusing...Kader is doing nothing new and deserves to make any switch he desires
