I am certainly not capable of this task but I can definitively say that this is my favorite part from this past decade:

Ishod, Big Pun, Fourstar, VX, East coast, busted his fingers on the LOVE ender yet has so many clips sprinkled throughout all bandaged up AKA kept filming post ender because he is a non-stop skate machine...simply cannot be fucked with.

Good call, love that part.

damn i totally forgot he was on four star in those final years. shame on me.

Results for parts are in:

https://quartersnacks.com/2019/11/the-best-skate-video-parts-of-the-2010s-qs-reader-survey-results/

I don't think I've ever seen a publication write retrospectives on reader-voted "best of" selections. What an odd editorial decision. If the writers at QS chose these parts, it would make sense to write their thoughts on them. But writing at the mercy of your readers' votes sets you up for some disingenuous musings.

My theory about Ishod's parts cancelling each other out was correct. Palmer's part is higher than I though it would be. MJ's pretty sweet part is much better than Mariano's. Jim Greco's Deathwish part deserves love on this list,  other than that it was straight.

ehh, i though the video parts had to be solo releases, because its stupid to limit it to 25 if you consider every goddam video part. full length results should be more interesting.

For the most part I agree, definitely agree that Dylan had the best part of the decade.

I think the whole voting aspect was flawed tho considering a lot of younger people who maybe werent skating 5 years ago probably voted. What would they know about how influential a part from 2010 would be? It would have been better to see QS's actual opinion on this.

as i understand it, they didn't write the retrospective. they pulled from things like boiltheocean that had already been written about it

I would like to see the full list, I think that everyone would disagree in some positions but it's a good resume of the decade.

Tyshawn and Suciu Verso both deserve a spot on the list, being fresh in recent memory probably put them all the way up at #2 and 3, a bit higher than I would have them. Whatever I’m not mad at this list, plus it’s the people’s vote not QS choice.

I’m just happy to see Max Palmer so high and Reynolds anywhere below top 5 woulda been offensive.

Oh yea and Ishod should have like 3 parts high on the list but this is a good theory. I voted for Back on my BS from Ishod.

Dylan is the correct #1 spot, Reynolds would be my #2. I’ve only watched TJ’s part once or twice because of the filming/editing.

It’s been so long since I’ve watched that AWS Cinematographer Project. Shit was giving me heart palpitations today.

...why? It can be reasonably assumed that the writers of this piece are familiar enough with most popular videos of the decade to have thoughts about them lol.

You’re right- it’s a unique format...  I don’t think I’ve ever seen that before.  I feel like having multiple writers helped mitigate that risk though.  That way someone would hopefully be familiar enough with a particular part to write something interesting.

I really liked reading the Tom Knox, AVE and Max Palmer entries.

Also, is it just me or did it seem like the dude that did Andrew Reynolds didn’t have much to say?

I know Bobby W has two parts in the list, but I’m honestly really surprised that his Venture part didn’t make the cut.

No surprise Dylan won. I'm surprised Verso was ahead of Cross Continental (which I'd have 1 or 2).

A bit surprised that two Pretty Sweet parts made it, and CK1's part wasn't one of them, as his and MJ's are the only two parts that I find consistently rewatchable. But, to be honest, for a top 25, it's damn impressive. I agree with most of the choices at first glance. I probably would have figured out how to get Cromer's LSD and Wes's Crusty By Nature in there too (yes, I get its from polling).

Definite east coast scene sorta bias in the top ten, no suprise though coming from QS, 2 be expected, decent list still though but some of those are head scratchers for sure.

Regardless of his kookiness Evan smith not getting a spot while tj ends up being at a two? Idk bout that. Not sayin tj isnt in the top 30 or 25 parts but who you can have some of those names and omit evan. The time warp part and war & peace part were ridiculous.

It should be remembered it was determined by fan vote. Given Quartersnaks readers you are going to get a more east coast bias. I mean, if Thrasher, the Berrics and QS all use the same criteria for voting, all will get wildly different results given who the likely voters are. To be honest, I'd expect QS's list to be most in-line with the Slap posters though.
