Noseslide tips
« on: July 26, 2020, 10:12:54 PM »
I can noseslide but haven't figured out why some go really good and some just stick, it's not the wax, it's all random in the same sesh.
I'm looking for tips to help with consistency, like foot placement in the pocket or more towards the end, should I be leaning a certain way, angle of approach etc.. I feel like I'm just getting lucky rather then focusing on certain maneuvers. Thanks

For me the key is shoulders. I tend to rotate them to a 90 degree position to whatever I want to slide when I set down the nose. It sticks everytime. Keep them aligned with your board / in the same angle as your board approaches.

Cool, thanks. Not sure what I'm actively doing with my shoulders atm, but I'll keep it in my head for next time.
