tiago is a part of new balance as a whole, not just numeric. he's their star (skateboarding) athlete now.

DC needed to recoup their losses from paying wenning any amount to do literally anything. Swing and a miss fellas he’s throwin those twundos on the ground while taking a shit. “In timbs. Ha.”

New balance makes dope shoes just not dope skate shoes.

Get rid of that N. Ugly ugly ugly.

Second that. Been thinking the same thing since they got in the game. Only reason I’ve never wanted to try them. They could just drop a tiny lil N on the heel somewhere and they’d be ok

Highly doubt he'll stay on Droors. Seems to be a package deal with DC. Don't think they'd want to cross promote with their competition.

If they are paying him a fortune, I wouldn't be surprised if it is similar to what NikeSB did where it was an apparel and shoe deal.

My thoughts exactly. NB# is going to make sure Tiago is wearing NB# gear and nothing else.

I apologize that I was missing in action to help you guys on the Tiago stuff.  I was DEEP in the jungles of brazil shooting photos of wildlife and looking for the NEXT Tiago down there.

I have to think every big corp threw a big offer at him, he's the best in the world right now. Would be curious to know the details, and if NB just bid bigger than everybody else.

Or maybe they did like Reebok did with Allen Iverson and hooked him up for life. AI still gets 800k a year from Reebok until he dies
I did not know this. Smart to space out the payments.  I just looked it up and apparently AI gets a trust fund worth 32 million in 2030 when he turns 55.

Damn that sucks, especially after dropping his slave part. He recently posted on instagram that he got a job at UPS though so maybe he's just over it?

If we get a Kawhi Leonard and Tiago commercial together with this rebranding of NB, we will see something special. If they did some like “board man gets paid” Collabs with Tiago I’ll shit a brick.

If I'm not mistaken, AI's agent lined that up without his knowledge, knowing that he was spending too much at the time and had too many financial strings tied up to all of the things that make you go broke (women, family, friends etc) so he hooked up an extra clause on one of his contracts that extended it out super far.

I thought you were full of shit, but you most definitely are not. $800K a year plus $32Mil in a trust that he gets (half of) in 2030. Wow.That's fucking amazing.  :o
Like Daewon said: if skateboarding is a ten story building, Rodney is on eleventh floor.
