I heard this too. Apparently all shops including my local have a shortage of f4s. My local got a dlx shipment in and I really don’t think any f4s were sent and I know it’s not because they weren’t ordered because they’re the top sellers

no shops in my area have any good F4s. only colored ones. But its not just spitfire its thunder too. try to find a set of 147s in a store. been months since those were available. I heard from a dude that worked at DLX a few years ago that DLX was scouting properties in China. how realistic is it to have Ermico manufacturing product paying bay area rent and American wages. only a matter of time before they move that operation somewhere

I can’t imagine. A formula is a formula. You can probably mix the resin/isocyanate in a steel drum.

They are still selling F4s—I just bought a set. There definitely seems to be a shortage though.

Maybe there is a raw material shortage?

It’s possible the new factory orders different materials, but once you develop a formula you would not want to use different raws unless you had to.

I have to believe this shortage will pass. I have confidence that Spitfire will not screw up their cash cow.

My local shop here in Okinawa just got a small shipment, first in a couple of months. They're all black F4 classic shape in 101/99, none of the shapes and sizes that everyone here actually skates. I ended up getting some Easy Streets V4 since I prefer wider/rounded wheels and haven't been able to get any Radials for over six months.
