How heavy are parking curbs?
« on: November 04, 2019, 04:03:12 PM »
I saw one sitting next to some garbages by a small business so I assume they’re getting rid of it so I’m gonna go grab it.

How heavy are they? Wondering if I’ll need to take someone with me or do anything special to get it in my trunk.

Also what’s the best paint or chemical to coat it in for it to slide well yet hold up to rain and possibly snow?

I think I saw a ccs video where they bought some parking blocks. I was to say they were 200 but I can’t remember.

EDIT- confirmed that video those blocks were 200, and they got two for just over a hundred bucks

Idk the weight but they are heavy a bit difficult do put in a trunk solo. Just bring a friend, two people can manage it no problem. So long as your seats fold down you should be able to get them in your trunk. Just rub brick smooth sweep away the dust and apply clear coat liberally.
