cold weather fucking sucks and it is never okay

I live in southern California but go to Stockholm, Sweden, once a month or so. Love to visit the cold/dark gloom in the winter but would kill myself if I lived there.

I've had job offers in Boston that I've turned down. Can anyone recommend living there, especially those who moved from southern California to there?

I’ve lived in New England my entire life and the older I get the less I can tolerate this time of year. Every year I feel like I’m more miserable and pissed off for 5 months straight. Work all day, it’s pitch dark at 4:45 while still working, get home in the dark to an ice cold apartment then shiver and drink myself to sleep in a hoodie and blanket cause heat is fucking expensive. Don’t do it. When warm weather comes around again though, that first windows down super nice t shirt day, that’s something I might put up against heroin. It’s pretty tight. Then I realize I have to relearn how to skateboard again cause I haven’t touched the thing in 4-6 months and I’m pissed again. Don’t do it.

Milton should’ve been soty every year for the last 3 years by the way
