Never realized how close he was to clipping on that 50-to-50 rail transfer.

He is seriously one of the best to ever do it.

Love this. He's one of my favourites. I still remember the year he won SOTY and it was great because you just knew he deserved it. Basically came out of Powell obscurity onto Habitat and won it in a very traditional sense. New ad(or ads) almost every month, some heavy video parts, and I think an interview or two. Basically just a ton of coverage and no flash. Just let his skating do the talking.

Silas is such an absurdly talented skater.

That blunt to noseblunt is one of the greatest ledge tricks ever done imo.

Literally my favorite skater.
Before you say the music sucked, have you considered shutting the fuck up?

Mad goosebumps watching this. I feel like SBN is one of those skaters you appreciate more the longer you've been skating. Not too flashy, no 500 stair rails or 3600 flips. Just pure skateboarding and destroying everything in the street. It's hard, very hard, and it's beautiful to watch!

Kinda like how I didn't really appreciate transition when I first started skating. All those stalls and grinds looked easy, but once you try that kinda stuff you start to respect it way more.

When we had our first kid I was going to name them Silas if it was a boy. Then I found out Gary smith of vu named his kid Silas, and with my last name being Smith I think that would have been a little weird. Thankfully I apparently can’t produce male children so it never came up.

Anyone who says that Silas is the least deserving soty is tripping
