They had the Dew games in SF for like a couple of years running way back. They had that downhill contest which surprisingly a lot of skaters did that I wouldn't have expected like Zered, Manny Santiago and some others. But that was the first I ever heard and seen of Milton. I shot this photo and no one was hitting this thing aside from Curren and Sheckler. He fucking rips this type of skating though.

aight so suciu and Milton are basically the only two SOTY candidates cuz no one is gonna out tech Suciu, and no one is gonna out gnar Milton. This puts thrasher in a very tough predicament though, Mark is from the bay and essentially the Rodney Mullen of street, this has precedent with vov, but that’s the only one, Mark is the only one at vovs transcendence tho. Also it’s not like Mark didn’t fucking get buck as shit and do a bunch of shit for thrasher this year. Milton on the other hand is a fucking animal and like holy fucking shit, and the gnarliness connection to Phelper(Mark has this too) was high.

To be honest the only way I remember it being determined doesn't apply anymore. Which was basically whoever Phelps thought ripped the most in one year, the criteria was never that consistent.

Also, that kickflip looks nuts, can't wait for the full part.

yea, he skates faaaaast. incredibly talented.

as for the part, it's heavy. lots of really wild spots. the building kickflip in is on another level (different than the carwash). as well as the ollies / tricks into steep banks. the wallride on the bridge back into the ditch is rad. boardslide down a rail where you have to come out sideways or you will run into another rail.
