Skate warehouse international shipping
« on: November 17, 2019, 11:01:09 AM »
Thinking on getting a skate shoe from them and they offer international shipping. I’m just worried on getting fees at my door.

I'm in Southeast Asia and I've ordered from them a couple times. Usually when it's a small order I don't get any fees, but shipping is pretty expensive to here so usually we order as a group. I think it was like 5 boards 4 shoes or some shit like that that went up to $700-ish and we definitely got taxed on that one.

Not sure about Canada but the fees thing definitely happens. Never had a problem with smaller orders though!

Canada

I have ordered from Germany and I have always gotten a bill from customs. The fee is about 18 percent of the purchase in Germany.

High probability of getting a customs fee I'm pretty sure

Depends on the amount but it usually costs around $15-30.

I don’t know if you have, take a look at EXOShop or Shredzshop. They might have it. Bluetilelounge and Adrift also have an online shop.

duty fees will occur for sure

bluetile or ninetimes are your best bet for converse. they closed their accounts pretty much every skateshop across canada except 5-10

Pretty sure that if the value is more than 30 bucks you'll have to pay some fee. Usually is 18-19% of the value

Hey! I'm from Singapore as well. Skatewarehouse is definitely a good spot to go to if you want to order online. But I would also recommend visiting a local skate shop when the lockdown ends, 418 skateshop in Bedok (skater owned), Go Sports (they have everything) and/or Spitfire in Peninsula plaza (oldest skate shop in SG) just to support local skateboarding. But for a board, Skatewarehouse is probably the fastest shipping with the widest selection, and no extra fees if you don't order too much.

Hope to see you around!

Yes Miri, with the small skatepark.. Or can just skate the Marina City Park.. Got nice ledges but with crusty pebbled pavement. Unless u use soft wheels

I've wanted to get stuff from GoSport, but they don't entertain my msgs when i asked bout shipping to Malaysia.  Recently i just ordered a set of Ace 44 & 55 from Preduce Shop Thailand. They hv reasonably priced international shipping fee, using DHL Express.

Out of 3 orders, 2 I've received demands for customs fees after my order was delivered. I haven't paid them yet. Each order was over $100 and they were shipped to the UK.

In Canada I get charged every time by the carrier. It's roughly 15% of the order total.
