The last couple boards I've ridden were BA 8's but it looks like a few of the new ones are 8.25.  Is this an 8 or an 8.25?

[close]
8" I had the choice of this or the Malto in an 8" and the BA had a fatter nose. That's the only reason I stopped skating DLX wood, because the noses were all too skinny.
[close]

Yeah... It took me a minute to get used to the fatter, rounder nose but I'm sold.  I'm gonna try to get one of these.
[close]

Yeah Girl/Chocolate shapes are so sick! I love that fat nose, i have had alot of girl 8s. The only bad thing with the decks are the wood, pop doesn't last that long, chips easily.

Girl shape with DLX wood would be the best!

Who in the world loves girls with fat noses?

to me, goombas are synonymous with the griptape drawings and homemade t-shirt graphics of lame 13-15 year old berrics fans nationwide

Now I have
Jart 7.875
Indy stage9 low
Don't know what bearings
Aste wheels
Jessup griptape

I'm planning to get
Hessenmob midnight board
Indy bearings 7
Hubba street sweepers
I'm still thinking about the trucks - how higher ar indy standards than lows? I might go with indy forged standards (as they are not making forged lows anymore) or thunder hollow light lows
Don't care about the griptape they're all the same

Snapped my last board just the other day so I went to the shop today and picked this up. I really shouldn't be spending this much money right now seeing as how my financial situation is pretty bad right now, but I really needed a new deck. This will probably be the last skate related thing(hell, thing in general) that I buy for awhile.

Shop deck 8.0; still trying to get used to the shape, I only skated it for half an hour today but I couldn't land shit because the shape was so weird. I had to refigure out and change the foot positionings for half the tricks I usually have to make them work for this board, it's pretty frustrating. Im still in the process of making my tricks work on it. Also, the grip is already all peeled and scratched up on the sides; was skating a rock gap but kicked out at the last minute and my board landed upside down and rubbed on the curb at the bottom of the gap :(
Indy 139's
AWS Jason Dill 53mms
FKD Abec 3's that are starting to crap out on me. Squeaks and laggage galore.

I've always loved crailtap boards and I haven't had a girl in ages. I was thinking about getting one as my next board, BA's in particular since the sizes are sick, 8.25 by 32 and I was even tempted by the 8.5 by 32.5. I had a skate mental which was 8.38 and loved it, I might go with one.

Right now I'm skating:

Stereo logo board, black and pink 8.25 by 32
Indy 139s, as always
Bones stf 54mm
Random bearings from flip hkds to toy machines

http://www.awhsales.com/ecomm/pc-40796-56-thunder-147-hi-raw.aspx

It depends, the link he gave you are the Hi 147s, and the picture you posted are the Lo 145.  Yes they make the Lo and Hi in a 147 (8") version.  The way you can tell the difference is the Lo have blue bushings and the Hi have yellow/greenish bushings.  So according to your picture above, you'd want the Lo 147 in raw silver.

I've got the Torres deck.
My least favorite skateboarder on real, but a nice and funny shape. The nose is slightly bigger than the tail. I can't stand huge noses.
