Had to support Guevara going pro. Plus I'm stepping outside my gear OCD comfort zone with different wheels and new bushings!  ;D

Love the Alien, Heritage. I bought the owl graphic in 8.25. Joey G is one of my favourite newer guys.

Habitat 8.25 - First Habitat deck since like 2009? I  skated it yesterday and really liked it. Right off the bat was a really nice shape, easy to get used to compared to the Girl i had before.
Thunder 149 Hollows. 95 Aftermarket bushings
53mm 99 F4 classic spits. Bones 6 ball bearings - about 6 months in and there spinning really fast but not too loud.
Skateboarding is like jacking-off, it's that good- Jeremy Klein

They're okay, a little narrow but they're not Janoskis or anything. If your foot is super wide, I'd suggest going with the Kyle Walkers.

They sorta look like Rowley pro lite from your POV picture, and that's a good thing.

Are you an avid vans buyer ? Still hesitating if I should give vans another chance... I love the look of both the new GC and Kyle's cupsole.

Have any PALS ordered from Energy Skate Shop before? They have a new Polar Graphic that I love, in a size I haven't found at more reputable shops.  I'm not trying to wait 3 weeks or have my bank account info hacked....

You should try vans again, they're really the only skate shoe I like right now, virtually no break in time, just wear them and skate or walk around or whatever.

I really want to try the P4 or P8 shapes since they don't seem to have too square of a tail (which I'm not a fan of), but I'm not sure how easy they are to find and frankly, I wasn't a huge fan of the Polar I had a while back. It was way too flat for me.

Really enjoyed my P8, not too far off from a popsicle but it seemed like there was extra deck where I needed it. Not flat by any means, but the tail is notably more square than regular shapes if that's a dealbreaker.

Although it looks like you have some other options now, I have ordered from Energy before whenever they had sale decks or shirts and never had an issue.  Quick ship and no shadiness.

Thanks!  Yeah, it looks similar to the square-ishness of the Welcome I have as a cruiser (Son of Moontrimmer) and I love that shape so I'm hoping it won't be too bad. And I want to try something a little different but I'd like to see it in person and see what my thoughts are.

My only experiences with square tails were SUPER squared off and flat (kinda like the Dane1 tail). I couldn't get over the flat/dull sounding pop and didn't like that ollies felt more effortful because the force was so spread out.

when i stayed in daytona beach couple years agoo for a week i checked out energy skate shop and have nothing but great things to say from my experience! they have really low prices overall from what i remember and run sales a lot......the owner told me it was because nobody earns enough money, so he marks down as far as he can. this was four years ago and they are still in business. any PALS from the daytona area?
