The Heated Wheel 8.75
Thunder 161/Doh Doh cone bushings/risers
Bonex X99 V6 56mm
Swiss 6
Ace hollow bolts
Pepper grip
NB#1010

Got the madness and switched up a lot stuff. I've been on Ace for about a year and missed the thunder pop feel. The deck has interesting dimensions (14.25 WB/7.25 N/7.0 T/32.3 L) that actually work really good for me. Pretty stoked on the setup so far and was happily surprised to get a free beer coozie in the shrink wrap of the board.
Looks like a good setup, I like how the colors are all kind of subdued but work really well together.

Shape also looks like something I'd like.

Oh man I just finished skating my last of the hjalte 8.5 wheel wells. Best shape—I had three in a row. Here is the latest when it was fresh and it’s precedent regulated to a soft wheel version.

Left:
Venture 5.8 v-hollow
F4 93a 54mm classics
Swiss 6

Right:
Venture 5.8 v-hollow cast plates
F4 99a 56mm classics
Swiss 6 with aftermarket ceramic balls

(Cross-post from Egg Thread)

Heroin Mini Egg: 28.5" x 8.38" WB: 13.375"
Ace 33 Classics: Venom SHR 94a Barrel Bottom Bushing, Ace Stock Top, Khiro Hard Pivot Cups
Boardy Cakes Radials: 49mm 99a
Minilogo Bearings
Shorty's 1" Hardware
Jessup Ultra

Had my first session today and am pretty stoked on it. Spinning/flipping the board is ridiculously easy due to the short length/wheelbase. Slappy tricks are also working remarkably well. The only thing I am having a hard time getting used to is the timing with straight ollies. The short wb and Ace combo is definitely messing with my pop timing.

This is also the first time I've done anything fancy with grip. The top graphic reminds me of the Vision Jinx Mini top graphic from way back, so I had to try a cut-out shape with the grip. Kinda cheesy, but I like it.

oh so this works well with 8.0 trucks? this board might be what it takes for me to try venture lows...

The nose and tail taper quite a bit and measure exactly 8 inches over the axle, so the Ace 33 work perfectly for me.

Might buy this since it comes in the blue color and not the nasty gold foil. But man...after being on 215's for awhile, when I went down to Ace 60's they felt like the skinniest truck I can handle now. I'd have to put AF1 44's on that and I feel like coping and curbs will feel really challenging. It just seems so fun with that short wheelbase and probably turns and skates so nimble.

Sick bloards of late.

Ok we got a Marbie 8.5 but coming of the Metal Silas egg it feels like a size up. This shape is so much nicer look with the grip on.

I love pink tops.

Venture 5.8s. Stock purps because they are the best now. It’s unarguable. Purps always unless below zero for me rn.

Spit coni 58s 97a. Best wheel ever. I’m never gonna switch.

Galaxy grip as always. I gotta matchup with my spikey jacket

After going in the fountain and re-lubrication my bearings I bought used in 2017 are still fast as fuck. Bone ceramic yo. I assume that element white ceramics are exactly The same bearing. Because I had a 10 year runner with a set of those and it’s the exact same shit except they had a lame blue anodized film over their stuff that crushed up into my bearings, finishing that set forever. One year later I got these.

Look at this shit because I dislocated my fingers and I Was taking it easy since then. I basically still got a Christmas complete.

Bummer about the Silas board that shit was still popping before it got submerged

Time Crisis 9.125 egg
Ace 66s
Old 54mm og Spits

I love this shit. Also ace always make me think about Gullwing. I kinda would like to know if the geometry is similar because it looks to me like it’s near exact

But they had trucks that turned different all under the same brand. Like the side wander two is my favorite turned much closer to a venture than a pro three was turned like a G&s.

The Homie and I used to mix and match GS with the at the super pro three

Anti Hero “Easy Rider” 8.5”
Venture V-Lights 5.8 w/black Indy bushings
52mm Spitfire Conical-Fulls 99DU
Bones Super Reds
7/8 Silverado’s (Allen)
Pepper XG

This is my 3rd “Easy Rider” (first 2 being the Real 8.25” w/ 14” wheelbase). All the talk of shorter wheelbases originally had me convinced. But at 6’2”, I’m starting to wonder if a longer WB would suit me better (hence the AH eagle with 14.25”). Got an Ishod “Easy Rider” 8.38 with a 14.5” WB on ice.

I am your height and have never liked the 8.5. It's 14.2 with shorter kicks and its shorter than the 8.25x14 easy rider and even a lot of 8.25s.

Palace 8.1 with black magic grip (basically an 8.0, measured it and its like 8.03 or some shit)  whatever graphic, but these are the only boards that last me. Plus pink top is my favorite.
Venture 5.2 low. Super cush purple bushings and old ass riptide bushings. The cups are tearing but are still good.
Spitfire 51s f4 classics, probably 49s by now, with swiss 6.
Shortys lights hardware

Started skating superstars again. As soon as I started skating them I remembered why I loved them so much.

I like 8s. They're perfect. They don't feel small for my feet. I wear a size 13 in shoes. Ive tried bigger boards (dlx 8.25, dlx 8.5, ps stix 8.75) and they felt too flexy. 7.75 palace has a small wb (13.88) and feels good but i tend to land on the nose and tail alot. But this 8 (8-8.1) palaces are perfect with the 14.25 wb and venture, the pop feels maximized. Idk i love it.

8.5 HW Team Deck
159 Indy Hollow
54 mm SF Tablets
Bones Big Balls
Pepper Grip
Indy Hardware

I like these Heated Wheel decks. They use a generic generator shape (same as Tactics and Sci-Fi Fantasy). Not bad for $44.
