Oooh, a wide symmetrical, nice! I've been trying to find one 8.75" but I'm not finding them.

Yeah I'm with you on this. Maybe not 8.75. But close, like 8.4-8.6.

I've been riding mostly shaped boards for a while but decided to set up a standard board after watching static and the bronze vid

Real Ishod symmetrical 8.38 x32.125
Thunder 149
Spitfire 53.5 f4
Sample bearings
Mob m80

cool set up i dig the half and half board with the half and half colored spitfire sticker. my homie who  works for DLX and is skating those F4's with three white/one blue. he said for the 101's their doing 3 white/1 red wheel.

how's the symmetrical shape?

Soda - Skating warped boards is such a bummer. It doesn't really affect performance as much as it's just plain annoying. I've had boards from every woodshop warp (including South Central, Pennswood, BBS/Generator, PS), but Crail boards definitely seem to have a higher tendency than the others to warp if they are stored for a long period of time. Hell, there are new Crail boards on my local's board rack that are warped. I like Crail boards, but the warp factor always makes me think twice before buying.

I was talking to a shop owner not too long ago who told me that Crailtap boards tend to warp pretty easily. He told me if they just sit around for too long they start warping. Probably has to do with how they're made.

I've skated a few warped boards in my day. It only sucks when it's really warped. If it's just slightly warped, to the point where you can't see its warped until you actually pick it up and examine it, then it's not too bad to skate.

I like it, I don't utilize it too often since i do like to make sure my tail is my tail.
I think I like A slightly longer nose though.

its got two tails, right? i think id be into something like that if they made a symmetrical board with two noses. ive skated some boards in the past year or two with really small tails and after struggling on those really made me like a bigger tail.

Yeah I had it sitting around too long and I saw it was warped before pitting trucks on it but with the trucks on I could see just how fucked up it is. One back wheel doesn't even touch the ground. I went through the couple of other boards I've got waiting and none of them look like this and none of them are Crail. All it's done is teach me not to keep boards around too long, check them when I buy them and given me an excuse to go but another board. Went to Slam City Skates today but they didnt have anything I wanted in the shop (summer must boost sales) so I ordered off their website (their warehouse is elsewhere). Only problem with this is you can't get mates rates online.

Thanks for the info.
I'm with you on a longer nose. So if they went by the nose instead of tail on the length of the kicks it could be better?

Well the geometry of a board in that size is usually 7 in nose, 6.6  tail 14.3 wb, 32.25 length (roughly).
To balance this shape out it's 6.75 nose and tail, i do like the longer tail i think, but the shorter nose has a weird pop for me, like I'm reacting too soon before it hits. I don't know if it's the length or steepness, but both are probably to blame in some ways (or I just suck which is way more probable). I like the shape but didn't think through the rest of the dimensions.

Got the other two stranger graphics to hang on my wall. Figured this would look good between them after I've skated it. I Had to do more than just look at it.

HurtLife 8.5 x 33.5 15wb
Indy Koston 149's
53mm Spitfire classics (now somewhere in the 40's)
Mini Logo grip (worst shit ever) a lot like tar paper and lost grip quickly

Its a fine shape and the wood is not bad at all, but only time will tell.

How do you like that shape so far? Also do you know what the WB is on it? I've been wanting to try one of those out since it seems not too different from a reg popsicle with a squarish tail

Skating the Creature on the left but I just got the shaped one on the right from a friend tonight. I usually skate boards till they're completely done but seeing other peoples cool looking shaped boards is really making me want to do the switch.

I'm more impressed on how you beat out all the hype beast for that jordan 1 shoe.  I could get em now but I'm not paying 350 for some shoes to skate in.
