83B is the step above 101A (which itself isn't supposed to be a thing, technically), isn't it? I live for super hard wheels. Those are hard.

I'm going to have to switch to new ones soon and I'm nervous about popping the Swiss 6's out of them to reuse them. I used to give a void of shit about my bearings because for the longest time I'd skate nothing but cheap ass Reds I'd retire and replace every new set of wheels but those I fell in love with and I want to reuse. Plus they're expensive and shouldn't go to waste. I've never even taken care of them or cleaned them (I'm not nerdy enough for that shit, I roll through grime every day) and they're still in perfect condition after like a year. I was 15 the last time I reused bearings I think.

About the States I got a bunch of them a while back, at the beginning of the year before their distribution in Europe went to shit. But they've been fixing that and the shoes should be way easier to find (hopefully) as soon as January.

83B??? That's pretty soft, no?

A only technically goes to 100 so (B = A minus 20), so 103A. (I'm only pretty sure about this)

Yup. Bones also uses B scale for SPF and STF.

Thats why these scales are bunk, there's no way STFs are harder than 101 F4s.

I’ve skated both and the stf’s feel harder to me.

I dunno, maybe I'm crazy but stfs have an almost bouncy feel to me, whereas 101s have that rock thane with very little rebound.

Just about anyone will tell you that durometer scales vary by company. Spitfire's 101A is gonna be different from OJ's/Ricta's/etc. 101A.

I never had a pair of 001's to compare but those are nice! Its almost like a less fat, lower heel busenitz, with a wider toebox aswell. I'm reeeeally picky with my shoes, so I wish they were a bit slimmer to fit my slim ass princess feet better, but they are treating me well anyway.

That literally sounds like the perfect shoe, I might have to try a pair. Been loving the city cup lately too.

Yes, it's the rebound, STFs feel much more 'bouncy' (I know exactly what you mean and bouncy is probably the only term that makes sense).

I swapped from F4 classics to STF V1s yesterday and the STFs are just more forgiving, it's as if they are less dense compared to the F4s - they give the board a dull thud sound instead of rattley loose.

How the heck do I embed a pic?

Never ridden a board with any flavor to it. First session was scrappy but I like it. The tail feels huge and I need to adjust to the concave a bit.

I want that deck. Dimensions seem like they would work nicely for me. Short tail and 14.5” wheelbase. Love the graphic also. What do you normally skate and how would you compare it to that?

Can confirm these are the most comfortable shoes I have ever bought, skateboarding or otherwise. Might even grab an all black pair for work.

Also haven't had any issues with the laces yet as people were reporting they were snapping easily.

It's my second Foskco this year and it's going great. 14.25 x 31.75 (I think?) and moderately flat with great pop.

I live in Australia, so we don't have the P.S. stix boards over here, not yet anyways. It's made in china but I've found the wood to stay poppy for longer than a lot of decks coming out of US and mexican factories. Would recommend.
