Scumco is 31” with a 14” wheelbase. Feels crazy to me but once I get used to it I think it’s gonna get interesting.

Nice work!  I like that shape.  Where did you get your blank from?  Or did you press it yourself?

I can't disclose my source on here (as this deck is part of a brand I'm working on starting up) but it's from an old American woodshop that's been producing decks for years.

Before anyone asks, it's not skatepaige. Those guys suck.

Nice Surly, I have a steamroller in the "boston baked bean" color which is pretty similar to yours. I'm guessing that's a cross check?

hopefully its my last week of rehabbing my knee, decided to throw this together after testing my new surf stripe method

scumco (silver spoon?) 8.5/31.75/14.0
venture 5.6 hollow w/riptides +flat washers+indy 78a
f4 classics 55mm 99a
swiss super 6
bronze allen
mob
sb dunk lows/adidas tyshawns

actually liking bigger wheels now that im off thunders. swiss 6 really shine with wheels that can carry speed, they didnt feel much different than reds in 50mm wheels (surprise surprise). 58mm conical fulls are up next when i can find a set, any leads are more than welcome.

Silver spoon shape is interesting right? I like the curved kicks a lot on those
yes it is, more pill shaped than the snowboard-y deep dish. full enough for me not to complain
while cool-guying is a real phenomenon, studies show that 83% of all cool-guying incidents can be attributed to the cool-guyee being an awkward weirdo

I actually really hate skating this so far. Maybe I will come around. I can’t figure out how to do a kickflip properly on it, which is my favorite trick  >:(

Yeah I love my Cross check. Best transportation decision I’ve made was switching from a stiff Bianchi road-bike to this as my daily ride. The color is “Moscow Mule”.

Surlys are dope, I’ve had several steamrollers.

Short boards are a trip. If you have a kickflip where your front foot travels up the board, I can see how that’d be frustrating. I’m not good enough for that shit. I’ve got the shitty style ones where my front foot is pretty much bolts to begin with. If the board steep, AND short, fuck.

Antihero Grosso deck 8.75 full (and it is a beast), Indy 159s, Spitfire Formula Four 99 duro conical full 58mm (still 58mm) and Bones Swiss bearings, cleaned and replaced shields after being skated without for I don't know how long and felt so slow, but they really came up well and the whole setup is so big and fast to skate.

I ran this setup for a while a couple years ago just with slightly smaller wheels (56mm). The 8.75 full shape is no joke. Shame how rare it is

solid. they have the 8.75” too ...anyone  know the dims?

That 8.75” real full shape is tempting too but not around this season again.
The new 8.75” hockey looks perfect as well.

Jay they only have the PS ones in stock. That's how I ended up with that Hockey deck last month..So they are not the Pennswood short wb decks that I originally tried to purchase.

pretty much what maggotspawn said. I’m not sure if they really do have all those different shapes or not, but every board I’ve ever had from them since like 2006, have all been quality. 👌🏻

I got a few maybe three or four years ago and they were fine. I got the steepest concave ones and the shape was good and kept its pop for the same amount of time as any other deck I’ve had.

Shape looks very nice. Whats the concave like? I had a 7.75 K shape once and it was nice and flat, but that could have just been because it was so skinny.
