I know there is some history with the BFRD and SS set up clones but can someone point me to the page where it first happened? My theory is that they are IRL friends who are fucking with us. I mean it has to be right?

I swear on my life I've never met him but if i did I'd beat the fuck out of him. I don't know if he hacked my computer or what but the dude is seriously fucking weird. Just look at his post history, does that seem like a normal well adjusted person with 20/20 vision to you?

Great, not only do I have mystery e-stalker that is somehow surveilling me in my home, but you guys think we’re fucking buddies.  Now I gotta spend the night in a hotel while I come up with a plan to get my privacy back.  I really don’t see the humor in any of this.
Do it so we can see if you 2 end up on the same one.

I hope not for his sake.  Let me catch him at the continental breakfast… his face is going to have a close encounter with a waffle iron.  I promise you that, playboy.

Why does the tail of the board look photo shopped? Like the blue is blurring into the carpet.

If it's possible to make a user mod of just 1 thread only, I vote @Buttfart Rapedick to be supreme moderator of this one. All setups that aren't DOA boards get kooked into oblivion or deleted.

I always thought Louie's boards looked different from classic FA/Hockey shapes under his feet. Less bulbous noses and more tapered looking. Is your board more like this by any chance?

Threadfin sticker ( friends clothing brand )

feels like it. the big steep nose is still there, but it comes in more gradually. some Hockey boards I've had have been super blunt, but this one is nice and smooth

If you watched Mason's 9Club stop and chat, he mentioned skating with Louie and having to use his board (and that it wasn't an issue) because 'it's the same shape' so that would mean it's closer to the DLX 'stranger' (usually Pfanner) shape which is the one off 8.25x14.12x31.7ish, the Hockey shape is: 8.25"x31.79"x14.12" so damn near spot on) which is also very full yet rounded compared to both the standard DLX 8.25x32x14.38 or the 8.25x32x14.25SE. It's my favorite DLX shape even with the tight WB.

9" at front bolts, 8.8"ish at rear.
169 Indys
56 Ricta Chrome Clouds 92a
Santa Cruz Rails

I have some harder 56s I might throw on because I want to get more comfortable sliding, pivoting, reverting. (Smallbeating 83b, which is like 103a??) But I really only cruise and these wheels are nice for that. As you may notice, my "tricks" have come down to riding without falling, and nose stalls on curbs

Okay so, I wanted to give the HLC wood a chance.
The specs were right up my alley, this is a Cafe deck.

8.125 × 31.75 with a 14.25 wb

Coming of a tweaked ankle, I was just on curbs and flat today. First session after 5 weeks and I had a blast for 2 hours and then..

I landed a heelflip with a bit too much weight on my back foot. I was truly shocked. A broken deck after just 2 hours is even for me really fast.

I will give this deck to my parents so they have firewood for the winter.

That’s a bummer - I have a Cafe (same size) lined up next, like you wanted to try out HLC.  Even if they are a little cheaper it doesn’t make sense if they crap themselves so quick.

Uma "Toenail" shape was a lot of fun, but it's back to regular popsicle for now.

Quasi World 1 - 8.375 (14.25wb)
Thunder Hollow Lights 149
F4 Tablets 53
Bronson G3's (still going strong, forget how long I've had them but no complaints)
Jessup

Emerica Wino slips, fav slip on to date.

Sour 8.18x31.92x14.2WB
Tensor 5.5s bones softs and wheelbite city
52mm Bones V5 99a
Bronson ceramics
7/8" allen bolts
tactics grips (quite good actually)
Bruin React

Few sessions in and I don't like the board...just a weird shape, long thin, tapered and pointy tail and nose...tho I get great tailslides on it.

Isn't Sour also HLC? I've been skating mine for solid two and half months (1-3 times a week) and it still have some life left. I even put a new griptape on it after a month.

In Europe Sour is definitely HLC. Don't know if they use the same woodshop everywhere else.

Luck of the draw then I guess.  Looking forward to skating it.  6 weeks in on a Northen Co. which is holding up well.
