New pennswood

8.75 blank
Jessup
Ace af1 55s and Real wooden risers
54mm conical fulls
Reds or sum shit, need to buy good bearings for once

Are their 8.75s 14” WB too? I like Pennswood made decks I’ve ridden but I don’t know if I’ve seen any size blank on their own site that wasn’t 14” WB and I’m way too oafish for that.
I only skate prime numbers, so it's either 53s or 59s, feast or famine

Got back from the business trip from hell, and grabbed some shop boards as retail therapy. I refuse to believe they were not thinking about me when they made a WBSWB football with wheel wells, but maybe some knowledge is too treacherous...

Arrow and Beast football 8.75" x 31.62" x 14.25"
Ace 55 classics
60mm kader lmao wheeeeeed radial fulls
quantum isotopes
bronze 1" phillips
Damn, throw some 53> on there and you got me ready to marry a bi—-, I mean board. Shit is gorgeous.

EDIT:Gawdammit europals, I was literally about to buy this until I realized it was euro and haven’t ordered across the pond before so I’m assuming (my bad) shipping is dumb expensive and would take forever or I get hosed somehow due to my shit luck.
This deck legit looks perfect tho, enjoy it for me; I wouldn’t do it justice anyway…

Yeah I had the 8.75 and it was 14”. I thought it would be too small but it felt fine. The wood is fucking good. I got an AH on ice but I’ll be swooping another up at some time.

Also @TwisT that graphic is awesome.

frog 8X31.75 14” WB
venture forged light 5.25 high
spit f4 53mm
bones reds
7/8” allen shake junt bolts.

I can’t stress this enough, this is probably the best shape I’ve ever ridden in 22 years of skateboarding. it’s not quite twin tail symmetrical like an ishod real, but it’s damn near close, the nose is JUST long enough, the tail is bigger than most boards. it really is

fun to skate.

This has me cracking up, what exactly does Black Flag have to do with measuring your dick starting behind ya nuts?

Skateboarding is nothing but a game to find the right fits to appear like you're a proportional human being instead of a midget or a giant.

Seeing 8” set-ups on here always makes me happy and nostalgic, especially if they’re paired with venture lo’s!

Here’s one I set up recently.

@Urtripping's post inspired me to go ahead and set up this Pennswood Scumco I've had on ice.

Scumco 8.5
Thunder 149s
52mm F4 Classic Fulls
Reds
Jessup
NB 440 HIs

Also found out I enjoy some magic carpet. 8.75 on thunder 149s. Kickflips feel good. Even if I don’t get a good pop they’ll do a barrel roll and whatever. But magic carpet definitely helps me with flicking.

toy machine 8.25 x 31.98 wb 14.25 (eu based so china wood, feels alright though)
venture 5.8, stock bushings, flat top washer
spitfire f4 classic 55mm 99a
many different bearings
diamond bolts, jessup grip
skate halfcab 92s

i won a contest and got to pick a board from a website, decided to get this one i’ve always liked this graphic but never had it and i kept thinking about it because someone on here has a gif of a fs half cab flip from brian anderson’s part in jump off a building where he’s skating this graphic. that black stain is nice too.

ever since truck companies started making the 8.25 truck and making the truck width part of advertising, I think more people have been worried about numbers matching and ignoring the benefits of a flipable magic carpet or stability of wider trucks

I miss when I didn't know what size trucks i rode and deck size was less important than graphic

The black stain has always been my favorite for this graphic. I’ve had multiples of this one and loved it every time. Paired with Thunder for me!

It was 3 for 2 sale, so I had to get some...
I have to say, Alltimers have treated me extremly well. Polars have been hitnmiss in terms of durability, same with Real.
They are all BBS so should obviously have some consistency with them, but idk...

Setup:
Alltimers Zered 8.25
Mob plain black
Thunder Team Raws 144
Spitfire F4 Classics 54mm
Bones super reds which are shit. Even my extremly old Swiss 6's are better.

Correct. All are 8.25. The irony is that the Polar deck is suppose to have 14.125 WB, but actually has larger wheelbase then both the Alltimers & Passport, which has 14.25.

That alltimers looks hella sick. Gotta look into them.

I haven't had any good Bones Reds/Super Reds in at least 3 years. Don't know why tho. Currently on Modus Blues and they are awesome.
