After many 8.5 twins it was time to size down to 8.38. I got the last two of these shop blanks from a German online shop on sale (No Comply) thanks to a pal in the twin thread - thanks again. So far I like it a lot, I only had one session though and freshies always work quite well as long as they have that snappy pop. Time will tell if I will stick with 8.38s or even size down to 8.25s in the future, with 8.38 twins not being that common (I only know of the Krooked Worrest slick tbh). Still debating if I should keep the 149s or set up the 144s (I got a brand new set). So far the 149s seem ok, they don't stick out and I just started to get a crook groove on them. Specs:
  • No Comply shop blank 8.38 twin tail / l: 31.8 / WB 14.33 (could be either 14.25 or 14.38, I don't have an imperial measuring tool) / it's quite a full deck, not as full as the 8.5 Ishod twin laying there for reference but still quite full (think a Real full SE), concave a bit steeper than the Ishod but not overly so
  • Indy 149 forged hollows, stock, still pretty new
  • Spitfire F4 classics 52mm, also good as new, just dirty
  • Bones Super Swiss Six Balls, same age as the wheels
  • Miles, miles better than the Jessup I had on the Ishod
  • Diamond 7/8 Allen bolts (or Shorty's, not quite sure)
  • Slap stickers courtesy @PuffinMuffin

why come?

I admire the attention to sticker placement, even though your Real TT suggest most of them won't stay on by the end of the deck's life.
Venture Truck Height:

5.0 & 5.2 LO
STANDARD - 1.88” - 47.75mm
FORGED - 1.85”- 46.99mm

5.0 ,5.2, 5.6, 5.8 & 6.1 HI
STANDARD - 2.09” - 53.09mm
FORGED - 2.04” - 51.82m

Cheers bro and yes, my flatbar will have no pity on them. Not usually a sticker guy but you can‘t leave a blank just blank, can you?

Imagine pretending you’re this dumb.

If you don’t recognize an American civil rights icon and combine that with an unfunny, distasteful Special Olympics joke while simultaneously insulting the people on the forum you’ve posted on 86 times - maybe those things all cancel eachother out and you’re actually a cool guy?

Or maybe NOT

Obviously he's lying, but it's always funny to encounter those freaks from outside the US who are so terminally online that they memed themselves into into becoming "Republicans". Maybe he's one of those dorks.

My There deck is about dead and I finally set up my sale FA. This will be my first FA board ever and I'm curious to see how the steepness will skate, since it's pretty different from my last three decks.

Haven’t ridden a love seat. First fat and shaped number I’ve gone for tbh. For how heavy it is, it is definitely quite nimble though.

The Love Seat is definitely one of the most fun and interesting shaped decks I have ever skated. It pops beautifully and is one of the best "flicking" decks I have ever skated. The key for me was not going too wide with trucks. Initially I had it set up with 159s, but then I noticed that it skated like a much narrower deck and switched to 149s, then I absolutely loved it. I only stopped skating it because I decided that I wanted to focus on a single skateboard rather than have multiple completes.
