finally built myself a cruiser

new deal andy howell 9.375 x 32.1 x 14
ace classic 55s
arbor whiskey 56mm 92a wheels
arbor bearings
arbor bolts
jessup nbd grip

other than the deck everything is from an arbor complete i bought for a steal, it was cheaper than the trucks alone lol. the board surprisingly works for flatground.

I'm ok with theft. It happens to me all the time.
I steal too

I’m rich and smart

Wish I could post a picture of my current set ups. Skating the 8.25 short Anti Hero and after getting used to it, I don’t ever want to go back which I’m scared about.

I finally cracked my Tim Gavin Dog Pound Slick reissue on a recent So Cal trip and so I set up this Adam Mcnatt reissue in its place.

I thought the shape was going to be pretty similar to the Tim Gavin board, as the dimensions were close enough for me on paper, but it wasn’t and I ended up not liking it that much. I put it on the back burner for now and set up this Brianna Geering Girl board that I got at Rip City Skates. I gripped it and put the trucks on over a nice cup of espresso on the patio of the coffee joint across the street from the skate shop.

Those are Venture 5.2 lows with cast baseplates, Diamond 7/8” hardware, Spitfire f4 50mm tablets and Bones Reds bearings. I put spacers in between the bearings cuz I felt like it. I put Jessup on both of them widthwise as opposed to lengthwise.

Op, you ok man? Being real here, you doin alright?

This is the set up that cured my madness.
It’s been a long and stressful process with a lot of money spent but I finally find myself back to where i started in the first place

Limosine Cyrus Bennett 8.38
Venture hollows 5.8
Spitfire 53mm
Bones reds

I have a curb set up and a cruiser but this is the board I skate pretty much everything on and I absolutely love it, I am so excited to save money now haha

(I blame the set up thread for all my madness and all your photos of your different, amazing setups)

Im currently skating essentially the exact same setup.  The Limo 8.38 shape on 5.8’s seems to work so well.  Glad you found a cure to your board madness

Ready for the sunny days coming to France ..  :D

Sorry impossible to put the image directly without a link .. I'm so bad ahaha

https://zupimages.net/up/23/09/353c.jpg

- Baker 8.125.

I rode 8.00 for a long time, tired of the lack of precision that can happen sometimes, and surely more confidence to land on the board.. And I never liked 8.00 size of baker ! I've always ridden better on wider Baker decks haha)

- Venture 5.25 High.

I also have a pair of V Light that I tried on one of my 8.0, but I didn't like it, too snappy/speed pop, I prefer the solidity and softness of the raws, I like my board turn slowly !)

- Spitire Classic 52 mm 99 D

I wanted to try the formula four, but for the price I thought that the classics would do the job and I saw very good reviews!

Love them, is guess the logic that "is a metallic color" works here so it doesn't bothers me that they're not classic raw.

Are you on 33s or 44s? They look much better skated (like most gear).

Sick! Looks lovely!

Yeah it just feels rad, I don’t see Limosine going anywhere any time soon as well so it’s nice knowing that I’ll just be able to keep buying the same deck :) do you see yourself sticking to that set up? And have you always skated ventures?

Happy Hour 8.125 x 32, 14.25wb (local brand, homies bro model)
Ace 44, 1 spacer in 3 out
F4 101d 53mm Conical Full
Swiss
Free Pizza bolts
Black Magic grip

These trucks are bit too wide for this board but I wanted to skate homies board and next size available was 8.5” which is too big for me…

It's an Alien x Thrasher collab, shop owner said he got a heads up and ordered a few in advance. Definitely leaning towards hanging it, mostly because it's bigger than my preferred size (it's an 8.5) Also picked this other one up for my bud
