Really leaned into the concept of "shop board" with the deck and stickers
Marriage shop deck, 8.6 (not sure of the rest of the dims, assuming it's the standard BBS 8.6)
Ace AF1 Low 60s with hollow axle hangers (also replaced the kingpin & axle nuts with the titanium Acer nuts)
Spitfire lil smokies classics 50mm
Quantum bearings
Acer titanium hardware
Pepper grip

[close]
This Marriage shop deck has been the best board I've ridden in a long time, the shape, dimensions and wood all just felt perfect, so I was delighted to confirm that it is actually the BBS/Generator blank 8.625 shape (8.625x32.375 14.625wb). So I got some of those and kept everything otherwise the same (including stain color)

[close]

Where do you buy generator blanks?
[close]

Some shops are getting them in, otherwise they have their own site now to buy direct.  Make sure you factor in shipping as well, which sometimes adds up to about the same as a board, but if you get a few boards, or even a ten pack, shipping works out a lot better, from looking at it and putting in a few options there.

Some specs would be nice for the decks there. I didn't find any information about length, wheelbase, etc. Otherwise, a great option.

Yeah they don't have the dimensions on the site as far as I could see either, but someone did get the spec sheet and posted it here for your viewing pleasure.

I didn't want to post it again, but it is in the Woodshop thread:

Oh yeah, I vaguely remember looking at that spec sheet then, thanks a lot! I wonder how much shipping to Germany would cost.

don't know if it's the same but it's def close, didn't make sense to order them to poland, you can get 10 bbs made decks for the same price in europe easily

lil update

same chocolate 8.5, good board, good shape
new venture 5.8s, old supercush 90a bushings with a flat top washer
spitfire f4 radial 57.5mm 99a, skated them like 5 times with my old trucks, they’re probably 57s since i had significantly bent trucks
old skf bearings, old pig bolts, pumas

You can start the checkout process and just leave the site after they calculate the shipping costs. I did that yesterday, for 4 decks it's something like 84€ shipping. Didn't bother to see if the costs just keep escalating or if there's a cap anywhere though, so maybe there's a deal somewhere if you're willing to REALLY stock up on something.

i looked it up and the shipping for 20 decks is more than the decks themselves, like 40 euro more

New one in a while:

Frog 8.25 w/ Mob
Venture V-lights 5.6 w/ Bones Meds & flat washers
Spitfire F4 52mm 99a Conical
Bones Swiss (2 or 3 reds mixed)
Bronze 1” Allen Hardware
Adidas Promodel

I’ve been hurt a ton this year and basically the whole summer is gone without me properly enjoying it.
My old deck wasn’t even that beat but I really wanted a fresh feeling pop for my comeback sesh so went and grabbed this Frog one I had collecting dust for over an year.

Also been skating quite exaggerated shapes lately, steep/squary noses, weird wheelbases. Meanwhile this Frog definitely feels really standard, but works really good, maybe cause there’s nothing weird about it. First sesh I felt confident and consistent so I’m digging it.

Hell yeah, welcome back! Hope you get to enjoy what's left of the summer and that you stay clear of injuries.

Tasty looking setup to come back to, and those shoes paired with those baggy taupe pants are *chef's kiss*

Woah. What?! Damn, that's a bit much. But thanks for your time and effort pals. I don't know if I will be able to skate again soon. But I hope so and constantly think about tricks and spots.

Welcome back! Beautiful set up. I skated that board a few years ago. I think like 2020 and I had bought it like the year before. I snapped the tail on flat but it skated good I just blew it. This was before I went to just square ps stix 8.5x32.125x14.75 boards on 5.8 ventures.

How are ventures with med bones bushings?

Rad! How do you like it so far?
I skated 3 of that shape in a row, but on Indy 139's. Now i'm on the G026 shape and am really liking it so far. Wondering if indy's are a tad high for it tho?

I'm liking it so far. Had my second session on it today. I would say for my preference indys would be too high for me but I'm riding thunders so I'm biased towards a lower truck. I want my tail to hit ASAP haha

Yeah I knew it wasn’t the most recent board, but don’t fully recall when I bought it. Maybe it was during quarantine tbh.

Ventures with Bones Meds and flat washers are what made ventures fully work for me and go full Awake. It’s like it unlocked their full turning potential.
I also got the same on a wider set-up with 6.1 ventures.

Parts bin was getting deep and wanted to try some Ventures, so...

Roger Ryan Thompson Tugboat 31.8x8.5x.14.3
Venture 5.8 V-Lights
F4 Classics 52mm/101d
Bones Reds Big Balls
Shorty's Silverado 7/8"
Shake Junt grip (ran out of MOB)
Adidas Tyshawns

Probably just do a bunch of old man pop shuvs on this thing, lol.

EDIT: Had a first short session at the park. Love this setup.

There BA "Queen of Kings" 8.5 x 31.8 x 14.25 Stamped IV
Been obsessed with this shape for the last year or so. It's a very common DLX shape, same as the blue eagle and blue Real oval decks as well as many pro graphics. It feels nimble but not short, like I find the True Fit 8.5 to be.

Thunder Ti 149 with Ace barrel bottom and thunder 97a red top. I like the stability of barrel bushings on Thunder's and the Ace bushings are about the same geo. Will also use a Royal bottom, kinda the same thing and any hard top that fits. Using the Real Thunder 3ply wood risers.

54mm x 32mm (now prob 52) 93a Dragoons because I'm in my late 30s. Though they wear fast they're great wheels and so much easier on my body. The fatigue levels are like night and day versus f4's.

Andele "Swiss" bearings. I do not recommend these, they're okay but I had 'em so may as well. I prefer the normal Bones Swiss (black Friday maybe) or more value priced Modus Titanium.

Mob, line. Modus allen bolts with teeny tiny heads. Not a fan but only 1" hardware I had.
