Opera "rider stock" 8.75 x 32 - these are sold by TGM and is basically a standard Opera deck but with the mellow concave mold instead of the steeper medium concave mold. Spray painted over the horrible graphics.

aaaand decided i really don't like the Slappys. Back to Ace AF1 Lows with hollow axle
Nice setup. I wish I could gnar ya.
Curious about both the Slappy and AF1 lows. Why do you prefer the Aces after trying both?
I’ve been on AF1 lows for a few years now, ever since they came out. I’m old, I like low trucks for the ease of the pop. But the AF1 lows do result in crazy wheelbite so I was interested in trying another low truck that came in 8.75 (I don’t like the Thunder wheel slide) hence I tried the Slappys. Everything I’ve read on here said that they are roughly the same height as AF1 lows (good), slightly wider wheelbase compared to AF1s (good), hollow to reduce the weight (good), etc etc
I wound up skating the Slappys for three sessions. I don’t know how but they were very difficult to hit wheelbite (great, solved that one AF1 problem!) but I wound up ghost popping all over the place, even after being acclimated to them. When I compared the axles end-to-end on a flat surface the Slappys are probably 1mm taller at most, but with the slightly different wheelbase factor I think it affected my “triangle of pop” or whatever more than expected. That’s the reason I’m ditching them. Grind was fine, turn was good, pinch was ok…it’s the pop that got me
When I went back to the AF1s everything just felt right again
