Mellow transition in the Long Beach/North OC area?
« on: November 25, 2019, 05:38:38 PM »
Starting to learn to ride transition. What are some good spots in the Long Beach/North OC area that have mellower pools and/or transition sections to best learn on?

Gracias in advance.

It’s not. For a few tricks like FS rocks or smiths, sure but otherwise small and mellow then bring it to bigger stuff.

Not talking bigger. Steeper. I learned on very mellow tranny as it was all the rage in the UK. But it wasn't until I moved to Oregon and found the tight stuff that things really clicked. To each their own.

+1 on Watts. Just don't leave your stuff out there; there's a lot of people that shoot up dope in the neighboring park that wont hesitate to take your phone. Harbor City looks cool. There's a real mellow bowl at the Paramount skatepark
