Dickies are bad for skating or for wearing generally. Its what you'd buy for your work force cause it'll last for your money and you don't care about their comfort, "here, fuck you, wear these uncomfortable shits". -thats why it's 'workwear'.

The Dickies from the skate line (I think they're called the '67 series or something) are my favorite pant. They're softer and more comfortable than normal Dickies but they're still durable. I started wearing them about two years ago and the crotch is only just now starting to wear down on my first pair. Other than Levi's when I'm in the mood for denim, these specific Dickies are the only pants I skate in. I tried to get some standard ones to save a bit of cash but they're way too stiff for my liking.

Levi's 511.

I have them in 3 styles: regular, premium, and skateboarding

Regular and premium are of lighter weight and extremely comfy.

the skate ones are heavy and stiff, but definitely more durable, you can tell by touching the material.

They're all really good.

I have a pair of the skate 501s and they're a really nice pair of jeans. So nice that I don't actually like to skate them, haha. As far as jeans to skate in I'm more of a 505 guy but idk if Levi's makes them in their skate line.

I skate exclusively joggers outside of summer. Might depend on who's makin em but they are by far the most comfortable skate pants I've ever rocked

But where is the advantage of wearing a pair of pants for years? There are 2nd hand shops all over with pants for 50 cents!! Washed and clean.

Dickies shorts, literally the only thing I wear over here.
They're comfy brand new and only get more and more comfy the older they get.
Have pairs from 2004 that are still going strong. Plus they're always going cheap on ebay.

I can tell you from personal experience that this is not true.

Not disputing ur testamony on this but washing would prolly be chePer/easier then sorting thru it all looking for food chunks stuck on the front of shirts or the cum stains, -theyre def gonna show up. None of the stuff ive seen (edit i can only speak for canada/europe not the U.S) has had any imbedded food chunks or cum stains so im lible to think it had been warshed. (Mabye in a warsh bucket!)
I guess i dont mind chillin in filth anyway (except for poop or chemicals). Comfort can imprison people. Can heal as well.
