I had that one at Steely Dan.

Imagine not knowing Steely Dan. Imagine never going to an expensive HFi store, and the clerk trying to sell you a system by blasting Josie. Those chimes, manz, those chimes!
Is it true?  Or did you read it on the slap message board?

Good clues for an obvious seeming skater. Didn’t get it until homeless.

Davis sort of messed up saying none of the sponsors were a board brand.

‘Sorry little boy’ hahahah

Funny he mentioned Tony Tave as favourite teammate. All I know about Cerezini is his short Really Sorry part, which always confused me as a kid. I was trying to compare him to someone going into this and it was Tony Tave.

I never thought he fit Flip when they already had Appleyard and Bastien. But, I think if he had had an actual part in Extremely Sorry he would’ve changed my mind.

This was also the era when everyone needed to have their version of Prod on the team. Watch that part again with that in mind and there’s a few clips that you’re like, “is this a knock version of In Bloom?”
We need Malto to release the pic of Biebel drunk in an elevator with his wiener hanging out.

Dude is funny. Also looks exactly like Eldy lol. I remember an ad in a magazine with a sequence of that switch flip front board down the 8(?) stair that they showed footage of and that trick still gets stuck in my head sometimes. Always liked his footage.

maple with MJ too

I think his statement was correct - the brand shared by all three wasn’t a board brand.

Beginning to really see why GH criticized the bunt guys for being too connected to the industry. Danny called out Stevie Williams for absolutely fucking him on that contract and they barely even said a word, just skimmed over it. Then in the post office that one dude made some very valid points about why PSL is the antithesis of what skateboarding is all about and they couldn’t come up with anything besides “if you don’t like it don’t watch it” was pretty funny to hear both of them debate how to pronounce “antithesis” though. I still like the show but they’re becoming more nine club with each season.

While i do enjoy the interviews it bothers me a bit that they barely ever ask a clarifying question. Sometimes a question/answer gets lost in translation (esp if the guest is ESL) and they never care to say somtehing like: "you mean this?", "Did you say did or didn't?" etc.

It's like when someone's telling you something but you can't hear it clearly so you just nod and hope it was the appropriate response. They do it often.

Besides that the switch hardflip front blunt blew my mind when i saw it and i barely even knew the guy.

I especially feel this way when Cepha does the Rapidfire segment. The transitions into the next question are always "dope", "facts", shit like that. I guess it's hard to to say anything other than that but idk it has a weird feeling to it after watching each episode.

‘See, I don’t pay attention to bigspin heelflips’ may be the funniest thing I’ve ever heard on a skate podcast, or anything skate related ever for that matter. Kalis’ delivery cracks me the fuck up.

Globes Opinion made me depressed for years.
