this one was tight, dudes definitely seen skateboarding history go down live.

a new horizon was so sick, mad heads in that. also such a classic ending to jump off a building, love that.

one of my favorite videos growing up. still have it on VHS and now I wish I had a VCR.

Always thought Walker got a raw deal in the industry.  He fucking kills it and deserves better, imo
100%. He's far more talented than 70% of pros out. I met him at an airport a while back and he's real chill, too.

i have never been able to watch a part of Shane Heyl, just because of his face/ the way he looks.
Same goes for Mikey Taylor, Sebo Walker and especially Garret Hill.

and there was a pretty big video where one guy spent some time of his part skillfully ropeskipping. can't remember which one. his face somehow made it unwatchable aswell.

I know its not their fault. and I know I suck for pointing it out. but:
At the same time, it looks like most of them are trying to be extra funny, ending up just cringe. must be Napoleon complex.
So fuck them.

Louie Barletta is an offender aswell. especially in hd. but he gets a pass for no reason

I can't say I have, but I also don't know if I've ever passed out with my shoes on.

I've liked Shane since his weekend buzz episode. In both interviews he came off as confident and competent. He said in his Weekend Buzz that he plays the hype man on camera and on sessions because it gets people hyped to skate. When they're chilling, they're chilling.

He was very careful talking about his Baker pro model as well. He didn't come out and say that he felt he didn't deserve it.
"How did you feel when you got that pro board?"
"...it was a surprise."
He's a good interview and a thoughtful guy.

I've been flying through at least 3/4 episodes a day this week. Absolutely binging on the Bunt lately.

I think i am mostly fine. Its just the freedom of anonymity allowing me to get some giggles out of overarching my points and observations to other nerds doing the same. I try to keep trolling and nerding balanced. In the best case directly in the same comment.

Shane Heyl tmrw. Could be extremely entertaining or extremely annoying.
[close]

For all the hate he gets, he does speak pretty well.
[close]

In my experience he was articulate and easy to talk to "when the cameras were off".

Shane Heyl does come off as a bit meh in videos sometimes but I think he just plays into the Hype man persona. Makes sense because, I mean, isn't that what Shake Junt's image is? Always seems pretty well spoken and self aware in interviews.

man that Heyl episode really changed my perspective on the dude. I always thought he was pretty unbearable in the overblown way he was presented in the videos. But It's almost a no brainer that he's stayed in the Bakerboys camp... best attitude, seems to work pretty hard, etc etc. Super sick episode.

Is it just me or is the bunt turning into the nine club? All of Shane's stories were told on his nine club ep.

Then I'd advise not to listen to both Corey Duffel episodes

I will say no solely for the fact that the Bunt encourages shit talking which is a fundamental piece of skateboarding whereas the Nine Club is like a kindergarten tee ball game.

Hell nah the Bunt is way better. I can barely make it through the Nine Club these days but The Bunt is always entertaining. The recent Nine Club Stevie Williams stop and  chat was decent tho.
