Skateboarding would have to be the most 'fun' and 'cool' looking event at the Olympics to an outsider and young kids. Think of all the new potential shoe sales, and if you see that swoosh on an Olympic skaters feet, you know exactly who makes the shoes. So a few more sales for Nike, and then a lot more sales when all these new skate kids going through a few pairs a year.

Surely they are just cutting deadwood. Or making room on the team for all these 'post olympic' rippers about to come on the scene
Is it true?  Or did you read it on the slap message board?

Might re-visit some of Tommy Gunz parts, that instagram teaser clip had all bangers and you'd forget how great that guy was for so long. I haven't even really thought about him in the longest, but looking forwrd to this.

What's the story behind your sig pic?

Ah I wish I could tell you, pal. Just Megan Baltimore lending Gonz some money back in the day for an extortionate amount of interest, that she later claimed she didn't take back (the interest).

Hopefully the nike rumor is true
Different industry but they basically dropped all of their trail runners last year. I wouldn't be surprised if they cut most of the team and only kept their long term contract guys.

I don't think he understands what a bunt is. Sounds like his kid anti bunted and got served due to his commitment. T gunz reminds me of encino man but chulavista man (modern day cave man).

Two big LOLs on the unreleased episodes discussion.

-Yaje too stoned to finish the interview.
-Raymond Molinar's skate career history just seems to be his life history.
We need Malto to release the pic of Biebel drunk in an elevator with his wiener hanging out.

That was a great discussion of the life of a journeyman level Canadian pro in the 2000s. Good on him for living it up and then making that transition into the real world.
I thought it wasnt just him solo, shouldve stuck with my og thought.

Those canadians one when they really know the guests are the best. Bunt is the best, always hyped on new episodes. I feel like they really found they groove last season

The trail program was nothing like SB. It's basically always been ambassadors and 'elite' ambassadors. They cycled people out and in over the last few years like they always do, and still have a trail team. The Snow program shuttered basically overnight and kicked everybody off though, because it never caught on.

Completely agree about the Canadian guests being awesome. They just seem more comfortable with some of these guys and it's nice to hear some of the inside stories from their crews up there.

All this Stenger talk and we will probably never get an interview, ever.  Seems as if he could’ve given two shits anyways.  Wish Craig would’ve fully had his back, but they’ve slept on some of the best historically.

Stenger was something else though.

Was hoping they would go into the plaza (de Col󮩠he grew up skating at a bit more. There were these rounded benches, about knee-high, that looked quite hard to skate. I remember he did a fakie hardflip switch crook on one of them. This was in the 90s. Footage was grainy so maybe the spot was actually perfect, but I don't think I ever saw it in any other videos. Any Spaniards here who know more about it?

Hadn't really kept up with Carlos Ribeiro, so I had to do a little bit of catch up after listening to this interview.
His new 'Encore' part was pretty much exactly what I expected after hearing Cephas and Donovan sing his praises.
The switch flip front blunt followed by switch flip bs noseblunt line (starts at 0:35)...:

Kinda surprised to hear Carlos call out Lindsey Robertson for worst style during Rapid Fire..

Same questions and answers as his 9 club interview.

The bunt version was much better.

I do wonder though... Are the guys given a list of talking points or accepted questions?

The two interviews are so so so similar.

Oh really ? They must get a list of approved qs they can pick and choose from for sure.

Not that it matters I still love the bunt.

You know they don't really stick to the script anyway.

True, but I wasn't expecting to hear about Chris Joslin going on a bender while being poopie drunk in China. Yeesh!
Full disclosure though, I wasn't surprised.
