didn't even call out anybody in the rapid fire

Bless though, he seems like a very chill guy and the rapid fire don't fit for everyone. I thought the interview was great.

^they made the correction in the video after the fact. I got it after get familiar.

Favorite part from him imo.
I thought I was getting somewhere because Tim and mark both skated for habitat but the math wasn’t mathing with Kris.
Got it after the get fam and the trick named after clue

Bit of a snooze fest. A lot of skaters aren’t really the best at telling an engaging story. Love that Origins part though.

Bonus curren caples episode tomorrow. Sounds like it’s gonna be advertising his new vans shoe. Just relistened to his first episode and it was better than I remember. Good storyteller and good stories

That kind of changed my perspective on smolik. I knew he was fried but saying he goes harder in the paint than Gall was kind of wild. I wonder if those two have ever partied together

I love the Bunt, the only skate podcast I really look forward to a new episode, but the most exciting thing about this episode was the Brandon Turner cameo, and that says a lot.

It’s so hard for me to not hate this dude but I’m trying. That story of partying in Mexico sounded like they went to Mexico to get fucked up and hopefully get an interesting story to tell on a podcast. Kid shit. Shoe looks super original. Like an era with curren on the tongue. Tongue is a weird word.

sometime when i was around 16 or 17, i was out all night in sf being nefarious and things, and come sun up i had to take a mean shit. couldn’t wait type of situation. and they got the 25 cent green rooms but at that hour, just before they’re open for the day, lines of the unsheltered form at each of them, so there was no way i was getting into one any time soon. so there i am looking for a newspaper, or anything i can find to sub in for some tp, because sf is sleepy and ain’t nothing open in lower market at that hour, but all the stands were empty. so i find myself gravitating toward pier 7, and i find a t-shirt on the bench there by the manual block. it was baby blue, probably someones second shirt, cause dudes used to wear two shirts back then a lot, it was a thing, and they probably took it off so it would stay clean, but then they forgot it. so i used the shirt to wipe and i left it behind in the bushes by the tennis courts. like a man. then i went about my day.

was howling when billy said that 'mike rowe' was the worst teammate or maybe worst guy to room with.

he's thinking of tom rowe, who was a toy machine hopeful from canada back in the day. he was known for ripping people off (asking for money for gear but then wouldn't give the person the gear) and just taking advantage of people in general.

apparently he was given a super hard time on a tour the summer before good & evil came out and came back with his tail between his legs as they sent him home early. faded out pretty quickly after that.

I believe he got injured also. Hurt his knee and was never the same after. I've stated my dislike for him many times on here. Old friend/grew up together in my shit small home town, but he is one of the fakest people I've ever met.

That's funny though that Billy remembered how shitty he was despite not remembering his name.

To be fair, I think a lot of our favorite pros went on trips just to party and Curren didn’t sound like he was bragging or anything. He seems like the quiet homie that just happens to be around when shit goes down lol he told some crazy stories in his first bunt interview too after Cephas and Dono asked

Having fun with your friends is super lame, we all know the only reason you would do that is to get a story for a podcast.

Curren’s first Bunt episode is the best Bunt ever. Seems like a cool kid.

Curren is one of those people who have grown on me as he's aged. I was surprised to learn he's only a year younger than I am, but he comes off as a likeable guy, imo. Probably not someone I'd kick it with after a session but I'm sure he'd bring some excitement to the session.
Seems like some people can't let go of their preconceived notions and viewing him in this scope of still being a child ripper.

my favorite flavor...plain!

I had you more pegged as a wintergreen kind of person, but unflavored is also an acceptable choice...
