I ordered some stuff from Michael Sieben while he was on a trip once. Had a few cordial e-mails back and forth and got it a bit later. He apologized profusely and even added a few extra things to the order. I do understand that things come up but the lack of communication is an issue. However, starting a thread on slap trying to start shit is the bad yelp review of the skateboard world in my opinion.

Guy in this band Dance Gavin Dance has/had the voice of an angel, like a raspy r&b thing going on. Got super addicted to heroin and scammed his fans out of thousands of dollars. I met them once and was getting a shirt signed by all of them at some meet and greet thing I was at with an old girlfriend at the time and dude was the last one at the table. Guy was so out of it he thought there was someone next to him and tossed the shirt onto the ground not even realizing. Fucking record scratch moment, security guards froze, people on line were laughing and the other guys in the band just looked down or shook their heads. I just picked the shirt up and was like “thanks bro”. Hope the guy’s doing better, he was real fucked up for years.

If it's the original singer, he got accused of sexual assault over the course of a couple years. I'd never heard of him but it happened around the same time as a bunch of other Canadian bands were being outed for similar shit. Lesson: avoid the face tatted.

He hasn’t changed, he was in a new band called Slaves (terrible name) with a bunch of no name guys seemingly relying on him to bring them to fame, they kicked him out because they were on tour in the UK and he just blew them off, flew home in the middle of the tour because he had to go back to Cali for dope.. it’s a shame, how do you leave Europe in the middle of a tour because you just can’t stay away from the stuff... fairly and thankfully I couldn’t relate but still a huge low blow and a sad reality

Not a name I thought I’d see on slap. But yeah I do. I follow him on insta to watch his shenanigans . He just announced he’s a having a kid with a girl he met like 4 months ago and is also currently on his first year  “sober”
So should be a fun ride in 2020. I also just enjoy watching mental breakdowns play out on social media

Kinda crazy that both Wenning and Pappalardo are both internet scammers. There seemed to be a little beef between them toward the end if their skate careers. I hope they get competitive and try to one up each other in the scam game too.
