What's the last thing you spent your cash on.

Just grabbed a new bike lock off ebay.

Bought a bike on craigslist last night and I'm so fucking stoked. Saved ~700 and checked all the boxes I was looking for. May post in bike thread later.

Yesterday I bought a new deck and some hardware. Bought my kid some stickers for his helmet, then we went to the indoor park for a few hours. Today I bought gas and a car wash.

Little just turned one, so we bought a ton of stuff for her birthday. It’s a big one considering she’s been through a lot this year so my wife kinda went wild.

Preordered a few records this morning and I’m about to pull the trigger on some of this DOA shit on sale

A dc jacket ridiculously overpriced at 369 canadian, marked down to 59.

Yep, I'll take it. Nice winter jacket. Kinda snowboard style.

Seeing if this is better than clear enamel to use as salba sauce. Acrylic based and possibly identical, but it's worth a try.

I finally got my 3 months of backpay from my recent promotion so I bought myself a new guitar pedal. Just a zoom ms50g. Usually multi effects pedals are pretty terrible, but these seem really solid and have almost infinite possibilities. Only about $100 too, so I can use the rest of the money more wisely.

A new fucking windshield, my commute is all highway of which a huge section is under construction. Which mean pebbles, pebbles everywhere.

Old windshield has been cracked since August but my inspection is due this month so it needed to be done to pass.

Glad my state doesn't do inspections for things like that because I'd be buying windshields like crazy. I feel like I've never had a car longer than a year where it didn't crack.

My windshield got chipped the second I bought my Subaru and drove out of their parking lot. Dump truck drove by right as I was leaving and a pebble landed on my brand new windshield.

I drive a subaru (18 limited trek) and haven't had this issue yet. Drive around 1000+ miles a month between work and road trips to central california (Yosemite/Sequoia), AZ and Utah. Heard tons of horror stories though through forums, reddit, etc.

2016 Prius, third windshield in 3 years. I frequent a few car forums for info when I don't want to pay someone to work on it, from what I read on there Prius' are rock magnets/Has a shape that is prone to crack easier. I guess what I save in gas I'm paying for in windows.

And the inspection thing is just a money grab from the state especially if you have a newer car.

It was a big-ass pebble in springtime Quebec City, our roads are probably comparable to Liberia or some other war-torn African country (it's so bad for real) especially in the spring with gigantic potholes and pebbles everywhere, so it's no surprise I received a pebble. Didn't really crack, just chipped. I refused to get it changed and it's still there, hasn't really been a bother.

Haven't really had anything nothing wrong with the car itself (Outback '16) except something that was covered under warranty (faulty computer)  but I do take good care of it and make sure maintenance is up to date. I had to get the head gaskets changed on my '07 Impreza 2.5 and that was a bitch I hadn't planned for. I knew of the known issue, but hoped I'd be spared, it happened at a moment where money was tight. I also didn't take good care of that car and shit ended up being expensive, that's on me though... I learned my lesson. Apparently the head gasket issue has been resolved; I hope, because I don't feel like dropping 1600$ on the repair..

Recently purchased PowerBeats Pro. I wanted a pair of earphones for the gym as I currently had over-the ear headphones that would slip out. Major upgrade and the sound isn't too bad.
Nothing I do deserves more than an iphone camera.
